I am TOTALLY impressed with this place!! I am a female hobby garage mechanic because I enjoy it but sometimes I don't have time nor the knowledge so I have to seek out an HONEST mechanic. EVERYBODY in this shop is very friendly and awesome! They made me feel like I was part of their family. I was told of some things that will need to be repaired and I knew it but haven't had the money. I feel totally confident that whatever work they do is going to be done correctly and within reason price wise. I have dealt with businesses that tried to rip me off being a female. Not this shop! I feel confident that they are honest and not going to pad the bill with unnecessary work. Dee the wife even told me if I needed other work done they have friends who they can refer me to. Being new in town that is a huge plus. The only regret I have is by me doing this review they will get too busy for me!! Keep up the honest work Redinger family! I believe in Paying it forward as they do.

Went by to get a quick oil change. Though I wasn't on the schedule, they fit me in within an hour. They pointed out some severe tire wear and offered to get me some quotes for tires. Called me back the next day to give me the prices. Much better prices than I could find at three other locations. I informed them of my tight schedule and they procured the tires and had me back on the road in just over an hour. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Nick was courteous, polite, and professional. He listened to my description of what I believed the problem to be. They had the diagnostic equipment to verify what the problem was. Before proceeding, Nick informed me that they had a and quot;general transmission diagnostic tooland quot; and that they did not have one for every car manufacturer, and that I would need to go to a dealer if I wanted a thorough diagnosis of the transmission, but if the problem was what I suggested (bad drive solenoid) they could diagnose and do the repair. That's exactly how it worked out, and for the price quoted.



This shop is one of the few local, independent mechanics that have a transmission diagnostic tool and do transmission work. I always prefer to work with a local independent shop rather than a national chain for a variety of reasons. Getting this repair done at Reddinger's validates that.



Furthermore, my car was evaluated before the time quoted, and was finished before the time they said it would be done.



Reddinger's was recommended to me and they have lots of loyal customers - it's no wonder why. Now, you can count me as one of them.

I could not have been happier with my experience. I was treated with respect, The mechanic even took me into the garage and with my van on the lift, showed and explained to me exactly what needed attention in the future. He also showed me the part that another garage wanted to charge me over $600 to replace and explained that it passed inspection and did not need replaced.

So far so good, for my son's car he is away at college in Latrobe, PA. Car would not shift properly and some lights came on.

They checked the code and diagnosed the problem as a solenoid valve. They replace the solenoid and had me back on the road in less than an hour. The light came back on the next day. A problem was discovered with the gas tank vent valve. They were very efficient in this repair, also.I should add that even though additional parts were required to conduct the second repair, there was no charge from Randy's. He said that I had already paid to have the problem repaired and shouldn't pay twice.Everybody at Randy's is always so very nice. They are small enough to care about each customer but big enough to be able to accomplish the jobs.I have had numerous repairs completed on both of my vehicles by them and will always use them for any auto issues.
