The entire process took about six days including preparation and drying of the various products. It was a labor intensive job requiring considerable attention to detail. The final product looked like a new floor, and now, after five months, it still looks good and no cracks have reappeared (yet). During the contract negotiation, their requirement for a 50% deposit gave me pause. I checked their credentials, found no bad history and went ahead. They had required the up-front payment two weeks ahead of the start of work, and indeed they showed up as promised. The product seems to be good. An acrylic finish is not as impervious to solvents as an epoxy finish, but it is resistant to oil stains and can be readily washed with mild detergents. The epoxy filling of concrete cracks is practical, I believe, for well settled pavements, but there is no sure guarantee over the long term. The good news is that it isn't too expensive to repair again.
