COOPER'S BLACK TOP PAVING

Mike Cooper, owner, called within a day or two after inquiry, then visited a few days later to discuss project and provide estimate. Mike listened to our concerns and explained how he would complete the project. We interviewed 5 or 6 contractors and found Mike and Cooper's to be the best fit for us. Project is completed and we are extremely pleased with the results. Driveway is beautiful!

Mike called a week ahead to let me know he would be out to do my driveway the following week.  At 1:00PM on day one Mike and 4 of his men arrived with all necessary equipment an got right at the job at hand.  It became clear the these folks were knowledgeable, experienced, hard working, and conscientious.  Mike Cooper is a true craftsman and has a keen eye and is focused on doing top quality work.  This job of removing and replacing my asphalt driveway was completed to my total satisfaction by 12:00 Noon on day two.  Mike Cooper and his men have a great attitude and are polite and respectful.  Almost a month later I am still admiring the quality and attention to detail that went into my new driveway.

Owner Mike Cooper responded to my request for an estimate within one day of my initial call, calling me back twice when I missed his return calls.  He  came out to take a look at my driveway within a few days.  He was very thorough and took his time evaluating the condition of the driveway and potential problems with the extremely flat lot that was not graded evenly when house was built.  The driveway actually was lower than the street and the yard surrounding it, causing problems with large puddles of water on the driveway when it rained.  Mike and his crew were right on time at 8 a.m. the scheduled day of installation and worked nonstop.  The end result was absolutely beautiful.   He raised the driveway and sloped it somewhat so that water would drain towards the front of the house into the street.  He also installed  a PVC pipe to one of the downspouts to extend water drainage away from corner of driveway into the yard.  Althought I personally wasn't home  for the bulk of the day while the work was done, Mike took the time to return back to my home that evening to review the work done.   He is a very pleasant person to deal with and all in all  a very professional and thorough job was done.   I am very pleased with the results.  I highly recommend Cooper's Black Top Paving...they are real pros!

The owner came to quote the job within a few days of my request. All details of the job were reviewed and a preliminary quote was provided immediately. A time frame of 2 to 3 weeks from quote acceptance was promised and the work was done 21 days after my acceptance.  A small army of workers and equipment arrived and the driveway repair and paving (about a 2,000 square foot area) was completed in about six hours. All paving edges were carefully smoothed, compacted, and match graded to existing walkways. A complex grading for drainage was done near the garage which has proven to be effective based on drainage of the heavy rains of hurricane Sandy. Cleanup was very good with minimal damage to landscaping even though the ground was quite wet and soft.

They are extremely professional. The owner of the company Mike Cooper actually comes out to look at every job. He makes sure that his crew does everything as per his specification before they leave. It was hard for me to get an appointment for an estimate because they are so busy, but he came out eventually, gave me the estimate and did the job.

The owner is very hands on.  I liked that he came out to thoroughly discuss the estimate, and the work that would be performed.  He even supervised his crew the entire time.  He was concerned about how water would flow off the driveway, and went about and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly.  They do a great job, and I would highly recommend them.
