"This particular customer seems to confuse work for progress. This first time home buyer is in way over his head. They purchased a $500,000 plus house that needs a lot of work. They also have huge medical school loans so I can tell the pressure is getting to them. They asked a flooring contractor to leave the job because he was trying to address an issue with the floor not being level. The customer purchased 3-8 hr. days of painting at an Angies List reduced deal price. I got more painting done than any contractor he could have hired. I painted a larger than 12x12 room including trim, doors, closet and then got a coat on the walls in another room. This customer is not telling the truth. It was easy to tell that this customer had never been in the presence of a contractor because of the way he carried himself. This so-called customer asked me to do other painting so I gave him a price at my regular rate. Then he tried to negotiate the price. I made up my mind when I finished the job that I would never work for these people again and I am glad I was able to communicate the importance of really appreciating a good contractor. They will learn how to work with contractors but it will take time. I wish them god speed in this process."
William responded to my initial request in a very timely fashion and we quickly set up a time for the service to be performed.
He showed up exactly when he said he would. which in today's day and age is very impressive within itself.
We went and did a quick run threw of the painting I wanted done and what was top priority for me.
The room I wanted completely painted looks absolutely fantastic. A true professional you can't even see where I attempted to do it myself.
I will be having him back to finish a couple smaller projects we just did not have the time to get to the day of the original service.
Sincerely,
Dawn

"Customer purchased large home near Valley Forge Park. We have a presumed husband and wife team. Communication was an issue from day one. After communicating to a member of this team of when I would start, the other team member had trouble remembering that we had already set a date. There was also a language barrier which we made progress on during the course of the day. The team members bought all the wrong paint for the job which cost them hundreds of dollars. This set the mood for the job. All they had to do was ask me, the painting professional what to buy. This is what happens when you get in such a hurry. I painted one bedroom pink for them. I told them it needed two coats but they insisted on one. Again, you have to listen to the painting professional. I was not told to paint the walk in closet. I also did a lot of prep work in the dining room. You have to sand the gloss on the walls and the texture on the walls to make your finish coat look nice. Again a language barrier/ communication issue. The women team member was very short with me throughout the job which I did not appreciate. I got the feeling this couple never had a contractor in their home before. I do not smoke, so the ashes in the bathroom were not mine. I worked very hard on this job but they obviously don't appreciate good quality. I did enjoy the opportunity to try and educate this couple on proper working procedures. I would avoid any and all opportunities to ever work for this couple again."
"Thanks [member name removed] for the nice review. It's nice to work for people who know what quality is."
