We received an estimate of $500 to repair the typewriter ribbon mechanism, which was overly excessive for this type of repair. When we picked up the machine they did not even share any of the diagnosis information we had paid 65.00 for. Even when we dropped it off he would never answer what a routine service would cost, because had we known we never would have spent the $65 or left the machine there. The $65 was a fee that was not refunded or included in the price of repairs even if we had gotten them done which he had explained in detail before we left the machine. We would never use him again.
