The garage door was installed on 5/28/15 by a single man from Arrow Garage Doors. The man also installed the automatic door opener and made a point of saying that he was disabling the lock on the door so that even "a child pulling on the handle" couldn't engage the lock. The second time we tried to open the door using the remote, the opener pulled the center of the door inward effectively crumbling the locked door making it inoperable. We tried three times to call the installer who would not return our calls. We asked Home Depot to investigate the matter and were eventually told that they would offer us a Home Depot gift card in the amount of $250.00 but would not be responsible to replace or repair the door saying that we had damaged the door and that the installer was not responsible.
I'm out nearly $1700.00 and have an inoperable crumbled garage door. I believe that the installer is responsible for the damaged door and I'd like him to come out, remove the door and replace it with a new one.

They didn't do things right from the start. It was just a nightmare. They didn't follow the local township ordinances. It took a couple months to finish whereas it was supposed to be done within 2weeks.
