The work is decent. It appears to be a one man shop. However, the billing practices are not appropriate. They will come out and do work, then you will get a bill for something different and much more than you expected. This is even with a quote. Then if you question them, they just substitute a different service then bill you for that. It is a shame because the owner is a decent guy but whoever does the billing is a cheat. Then, if you question the bill they do not respond and just simply stop showing per your maintenance agreement. Hire someone else, there are plenty of others who are actually honest.

Chris was helpful when first called last year. He walked me through my system at a new house and spent time showing me how it was all setup. We discussed future plans and seemed to be a great resource for future work. He took my money to winterize the system with 2 kids that really didn't know much. In the spring he sent out a note to schedule time to come out and open the sprinklers and perform a tune up. I immediately returned his message and never heard back. I emailed again several months later as I hadn't heard back. He told me he was essentially too busy and wouldn't get to my yard for at least a month. Another month is mid-August. He acknowledged poor communication in not getting back to me. In the meantime, my lawn has died and several sprinkler heads are broke. He left me high and dry. There is no explanation for this as I was very impressed and referring him to others after his initial good graces. I can only surmise that I wasn't as big of a job to him and wasn't worth it. I WILL NEVER GIVE ANY MONEY TO CONTRACTORS WHO DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS - OF ALL SIZES. Overlook these guys for long term peace of mind.

We had a wonderful experience with Evergreen Irrigation. I am writing this review approximately 9 months after having the system installed, so I can confidently speak about our overall and complete experience. I initially called them and left a voicemail back in May, 2014. Within 10 minutes, I received a call back from the owner and we scheduled a free on-site estimate a few days later. Chris showed up on time and walked our yard, took some measurements, and discussed some of our basic options. Within 24 hours, he had emailed me a formal estimate with the exact details of his proposal. The design he came up with met all of our needs of not only watering our lawn, but also our very large landscape beds surrounding our existing Paver Patio. I was so impressed with his professionalism that we didn't even bother getting a 2nd estimate. The price was very reasonable and we decided to move forward with the proposal. 3 weeks later, Chris and his team were on-site and began installing our irrigation system. It took them 2 full days and was actually very fun to watch. If I were to have attempted to do this myself, it would have literally taken all Summer and I would have completely destroyed the yard. This was done in 2 days with minimal disruption to our yard. Our system consists of 5 zones and approximately 30 sprinkler heads. We used to spend more than an hour after work every day watering our yard and landscape, and we still never watered the lawn properly (there were spots of the yard we always missed). Now, that job is completed for us without us ever having to lift a finger. Within a few weeks, our lawn had completely "healed" from the installation (several lines need to be run below ground during installation) and our lawn was lush and green and the envy of the neighborhood. We've actually found it very enjoyable to watch the sprinklers running. There is something very relaxing and therapeutic about it. We will often come home from work, sit on the patio and turn on the zone that waters our landscape. It's fun to watch and the plants are thriving. The control system is also extremely easy to operate and you can schedule it to run anytime you'd like. Chris and his team will make some recommendations on run times, but you can obviously adjust this if you'd like. Our system came with a rain and solar sensor that measures existing rainfall and heat conditions and automatically adjusts runtimes so as to not waste water when it rains or maybe provide a little extra water during heat waves.
We are extremely happy with our decision to invest in a lawn irrigation system and couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Evergreen Irrigation. My wife thought I was crazy when I first told her I wanted to invest in an Irrigation system for our yard... now, she absolutely loves it. If we ever move or buy another house, I'll be hiring Evergreen to install another system for us. Chris (owner) even emailed me about 2 weeks after installation to see how things were going and see if there's anything we needed. The installation cost included all sprinklers, plumbing, parts, valves, installation, configuration, settings, and winterization for the first year and we will definitely be hiring Evergreen to open our system in preparation for this coming Spring. We are excited to have a full Summer of enjoyment out of our yard thanks to our Irrigation system this year.
If you are considering an Irrigation system for your yard, hire this company. You will not regret it.

We didn't have our sprinkler system turned off before the winter.  We called Evergreen because of the great reviews I read online.  We knew there was at least one issue, but didn't know if pipes were burst.  Chris was able to come out the next day to look at the problem then scheduled an appointment for three days later to fix the problem.  He was very considerate when entering our home.  He explained all work that was being completed.

I emailed him the day after he fixed the issue because there was a problem with the fix.  He responded to the email and followed up with a phone call.  He came out the next day and fixed the new issue.

During the interactions I explained the issues we had with our previous provider.  He assured us we wouldn't have those issues by letting me know we would be added to his list of automatic calls to have the system closed  and opened annually.

Upon initial contact, Chris was professional, knowledgeable and punctual.  I received a timely quote and he patiently answered all of my questions.  He and his team arrived as promised, worked very hard and installed the underground system complete within two days.  They were efficient neat and clean.

After installation, Chris gave us a thorough tutorial and once again patiently answered all our questions.  I cannot make enough positive comments about my experience with Evergreen Irrigation.  This is one of the most buttoned up services I've ever dealt with.

I highly recommend Evergreen Irrigation and Chris was a consummate professional and I enjoyed working with him.

I would happily recommend Chris Haskins for anyone desiring a high-quality irrigation system completed with minimal lawn impact.  Chris came to our property to inspect the lawn, trees and shrubs while determining the exact capabilities of our existing irrigation system.  Chris was able to develop a scope of work that fit within our current hardware structure and he saved us money with a creative watering plan that will surely be the envy of our neighborhood.  The actual installation included nearly 70 new spray heads tied into our existing system, the work from layout to completion took three days.  Chris and his crew were polite and answered every question we had about their work.  While we don't have any additional property to water, we will be using Evergreen Irrigation as our preferred provider as we start-up and shut-down our systems.

I purchased a small home with a very small lawn sprinkler system. I didn't know what was necessary for winterization of the system and contacted several businesses listed on angie's list. Chris (the owner) actually answered the phone himself and called me back later that day when he was doing scheduling to schedule an appointment in just a few days. On the Wednesday of that appointment he called to ask if it could be rescheduled because he had a truck down and one of his employees had called out sick. I was concerned about the freezing temps the night before and a few more forecast. He took the time to talk me through turning off the system even though it was obvious he was having a less than stellar day. He told me he would call me that evening to reschedule for the following week. He had not called me by Sunday night so I called and left a message. He called me first thing Monday morning and came Tuesday. That morning when I had a problem with his 10:30 arrival time he was courteously willing to push the time back an hour. Chris was professional, helpful and friendly. He took the time to answer my questions that day as well. One of the larger companies I had contacted said the job was too small, one did not return my call and one would not come to my area. Although Chris has many larger contracts he did not consider my little three zone system not worth the time. I will be calling him next fall and any time I have trouble with the system.

Arrived promptly for estimate and explained function of system and plan. Arrived on time and installed in 1 1/2 days.  Cleaned up everything and explained system. Returned promptly for an adjustment.  Very fine service.

I had some sprinkler heads that were broken and some that needed adjustment.  Fixed everything, on time and for a reasonable cost.

Very responsive and professional service. I was very pleased with the work done. Work started a couple of days after we agreed on scope of work and price. It took only 1 1/2 day for the crew to install the sprinker system. They worked efficiently and cleaned everything before they left. I would definitely recommend them.

I am 100% satisfied with them. The cost is extremely reasonable. The service is terrific. They leave a nice, clean job behind. I have no complaints at all. I will continue to use them in the future.
