It went very well. They were courteous and knowledgable and did not push services that we did not want.

They are excellent. He was a rescue dog so there was worming to do and a whole bunch of things to take care of. They are friendly, very professional. It was like going to your own physician with the kind of recordings and records that they keep. They were kind to the dog who was scared. They kept him overnight one night. The vet lives there, above the center so there is always someone there. The facility is spotlessly clean. They gave recommendations without forcing me to take it. They gave me recommendations for nutrition and that type of helpful information for a dog. There are 2 techs and they are very good. They also cover the front desk and do the billing. They are personable, friendly, kind. Everyone is a little nervous when they take their dog in. One time my dog lifted his leg on the front desk and they were very easy going, no problem, no problem, we'll clean it up.

They're local. The price is dirt cheap compared to what everybody else charges. I have been going there for about 7 years. They care about your animals. When you have your dog treated and when you take your dog in there for something, whether it is sick, had routine shots, or whatever, they call you the next day to make sure your dog is okay. My pediatrician never did that for my kids. The veterinarian calls to check on the dogs. They just care about your dogs. They know them by name. They know them. When our veterinarian died, we went to another one, they didn't care, but this one cares about your animals. My dogs are like my kids, so, I want somebody to care for them. I would use them again in the future.

Boarded my dog for 3 nights (dropped off around 12:30 Friday, picked up on Monday at 11:45) - was charged for 4 days. Facilities required pet to have bath upon exit (I normally request this but have never had as a mandatory requirement). My dog needed a Bordetella vaccine which I gave authorization for the Vet to provide. Upon pick up I was told a comprehensive examination was given to my pet without authorization. When questioned I was informed this was necessary when giving an animal a vaccine. I was not told of this prior to my granting the shot and once again, this has never happened anywhere else I have boarded my pet - or at my regular vet. All in all I was charged $96.70 in erroneous charges. I will not be using the services of Animal Crackers again since I was charged for items beyond what other vets/kennels charge. And to add I was not made aware of the additional charges.

DR. HAWKS IS VERY NICE AND CARES ABOUT THE DOG. I CAN ALWAYS GET AN APPOINTMENT THAT IS CONVENIENT TO ME.
