They cleaned the chimney on our fireplace insert. They were quick, professional and thorough. They called us ahead of time to confirm their arrival and turned up on time. They left the place clean and tidy.

The owner was great; honest, respectful and did such a great job. I thought their price was reasonable, especially for the number of things they fixed in my chimney. We will certainly be working with them again.

They are awful, awful, awful. If someone asked me about them, I'd say,"I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole." The hardscaping was fine, I have no complaints about that. The grading was not a good job. I kept my dogs off the back yard for 8 weeks, they only recommended 6. The grass did not come back the next year and where they regraded it was just as bad if not worse - it was like mud or quick sand. They also damaged my fence which cost me $6200. I tried on several occasions to ask them to fix the fence, I gave them the option to fix it themselves. I priced the wood and it would have cost them a fraction of the price of what it would cost to have the Fence Guys come out. On several occasions the owner, Paul C, said he would come back, it took many emails and conversations to get him to reply. Last April 2010 he told me he was going to fix the fence and the regrading. I made that request for him to fix it the prior summer (2009). He just got back to me in November and said he would do it in March or April. March and April came and went and they didn't do any work. I got a call back from them and they said they would do the work in July, we had very hot weather and I knew no seed would take so we agreed to push it back. He said he would come at the end of September or October to do the work and he never came back. I would put them in the penalty box for saying they were coming, ignoring my calls and I even have an email saying they will come. It's the most frustrating thing I ever encountered with a contractor. Paul C was unprofessional and unethical. Don't waste your time with this company. The pavers look nice, I don't have any complaints about that. They were pricey but not necessarily more than anyone else. I have a lot more tolerance for a job that wasn't done well than for an owner who is disrespectful, unresponsive and dismissive. The owner came into my house and told me to my face that he will repair the stuff and never did. It was only when I told him I had a friend who was an attorney and I would speak to him about what my rights were and then he said he would bring his attorney, too. I'm a single woman and it was very apparent he felt like he could take advantage of me, I don't think he would pull the same if I were married or a guy. I give people the benefit of the doubt and he must have picked up on that. WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!

- Activated system; however, failed to identify zone that was not working, leak in drip irrigation in front flower beds and sprinkler head that did not rotate. Ultimately repaired these items four weeks later after relentless follow-up. - Did repair break in sprinkler main - Installed spray heads; however, they did not operate from the automatic zone controller. Suburban alleged there was a break in an underground wire and has ignored repeated requests to complete the work to make the spray heads fully operable. I have since had it repaired by someone else. The cause was a bad solenoid in the zone valve, not a break in a wire. Recommend anyone considering this provider check his record with the Better Business Bureau.

Paul came out and examined the land and porch. He made some helpful suggestions and detailed exactly what he planned to do. He later gave me a written contract and I gave him a check for half of the money. The job was scheduled for after the long weekend and he estimated it would take 4 days. The workers arrived by 8 that Tuesday and worked diligently without any problems. Sean, I believe he was a supervisor, went over exactly what I wanted with emphasis on the correct pitch of the land and the porch. Paul checked in several times during the next few days. The work was first class and they cleaned up everything. They were done in 3 days. The final product exceeded my expectations. They threw in a miniature walkway where we had several bricks haphazardly winding off the side of the porch. This was a lovely surprise.

Paul and the two man crew who did the digging were wonderful. They came out 2 days after the estimate. They were very careful not to cut the cable line, which I only had a vague idea of where it ran. The work exceeded my expectations. In addition, they went above and beyond in that they put the exta dug up dirt in a depression in the lawn and sprinkled seed on it. They also cleaned off my front porch, which was a very big surprise. It has not looked this good in years.

Paul came very soon after I contacted them. He was very helpful in figuring out how to fit the new construction into the existing hardscape/landscape and provided an estimate the next day. I asked for more details and he provided them promptly and patiently. Although we had a similar estimate from another company, I decided to go with Paul because he had very good suggestions for improving the project and he always returned my messages quickly. We set a starting date for two weeks later; this was delayed by one week not due to him, but because of continuous rain. The three workers I met were very considerate and easy going (even with my two rambunctious dogs). They cleaned the work area every day and they were always careful with the plants I wanted protected. When they got to the steps area, they found termite damage that could potentially cause structural damage to the house. Paul called promptly a carpenter who came and fixed the problem. Needless to say, I was very pleased with this solution. In the end, the project was done fast, with minimal disruptions, and the patio and stair look absolutely great! I will definitely hire them for our next hardscaping project.

I dealt with Paul. He was very professional and prompt in coming to the house to evaluate and give an estimate. I wasn't sure what I wanted to get done, just sure about my budget. He was very helpful and honest, in regard to what I could get completed with my money. After agreeing to give them the job and dropping off the initial deposit the work began with in the time frame he promised. The crew that showed up on the job were also professional and friendly. The two days it took to complete the work, they kept the job site clean and didn't disrupt any of the existing yard. The completed job was more than I could have hoped for (as a courtesy they even cleaned up an existing small flower bed ). Each day the work was being done, Paul checked in with me at the end of the day, to assure I was happy with what was being done and to see if I had any questions. All in all, I am exceedingly happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Sweep was scheduled as a routine and a $65 coupon was dismissed as 'expired' even though no expiration appeared on the coupon. Young men arrived as scheduled. Performed cleaning. Also conducted an inspection at the end of chimney. House is 22 years old. They found $1,175 in repairs they felt were necessary to the point that the highlighted notation 'Do not use fireplace until repairs' when I refused to schedule a return visit and provide a 10% deposit. I am not able to verify their findings at the tip of the chimney.

PAUL'S SERVICE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. HE EVEN DISPOSED OF A DEAD BIRD WHICH WAS IN THE WOOD STOVE. WE WOULD RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.
