I contacted them to a dug up the floor and a separate plumber will be hired to replace a leaking pipe and and Service Team Professionals would have to put the floor back. I have submitted all the documents from the insurance company, that has all my contact information, and after they've reviewed the documents they called and said that they couldn't do the job because, they would not make a profit out of the project and they don't do the work despite me having the extra money for the project. After speaking with Christina, the receptionist, Phil whom I believe is the owner of the company got on the phone and stated that do I expect him to do **** work for free, and so I hanged up, and he called right back cursing and so I hanged up on him again, then he called the 3rd, afraid that he would curse me again, so I never answered the phone anymore.

"Thank you for your feedback. All compliments and criticisms are always welcome. However, we are confused by your negative review. The facts you submitted online are not completely accurate. First and foremost, you indicate in your review that services were preformed and you would not hire us again. However, we did not preform any services for you in fact, we were never even at your property. While speaking with you your vague answers to our questions made it difficult to determine exactly what you were requesting our firm to do. A summary of our interpretation of what you were requesting us to do is; You wanted someone to complete all of the work from the plumber digging up the floor, repairing the plumbing problem to completing all of the necessary repairs in an unrealistic time frame and for a price point lower than you received from the insurance company. You stated you hired a Public Adjuster who took 25% of your rebuild proceeds which left you with not enough money to complete the repairs. We never indicated at any time we didn’t want to do your project because we weren’t going to make a profit. We requested a copy of the insurance settlement in an effort to see what the actual situation was based on facts instead of dealing with the vague explanation you presented over the phone. It was apparent from your slurred words, unrealistic requests, and evasive responses to our questions that there was something unprofessional going on. As for the cursing you referred to, you have misrepresented the facts and we’ll leave that one alone. It is a shame people like you have to resort to reviews like this when they do not get their way. We are a very reputable company as you can see from our many other reviews. We wish you much success in completing your repairs."

Working with Phil and Denise was a pleasure. They were very responsive and easy to work with in accommodating our unique situation (under contract for the house but not yet closed and wanted the mold remediation completed prior to move-in). Would use them again in the future and recommend to others.

A 2:30 AM kitchen faucet overflow caused extensive water damage to the kitchen floor and adjacent floor and wall areas, as well as extensive water damage to the furnished areas of the basement below. An initial (panicked!) call to S.T.O.P. (after finding them on Angie's List) received a prompt, courteous reply from Denise of S.T.O.P. We arranged for the company to come out and investigate the situation. Phil and his team from S.T.O.P. arrived promptly as agreed, and immediately set out to start the cleanup/demolition phase. Over the next several days, they expertly examined all affected areas, removed water-soaked wall, ceiling, and floor components, went through all the belongings and effects, removing the destroyed items, and relocating others to dry areas. They then set up drying apparatus and fans and allowed the areas to dry out. S.T.O.P. personnel carefully removed all detritus every day they were there, and were extremely respectful of our frazzled emotions and wishes. During this phase, Phil also assisted us in making contact with appropriate professional people to assist in contacting and managing the homeowner's insurance claim. When the demolition phase was complete, we contracted with S.T.O.P. to perform the rebuild phase. Although this phase took a while longer than we initially expected (due to some delays in acquiring replacement materials and some scheduling challenges), Phil and his S.T.O.P. team performed their tasks above and beyond our expectations. The kitchen floor was replaced and ather adjacent area were completely and professionally repaired to our complete satisfaction. Every detail was attended to with polite, competent attention. In the basement, wall and ceiling area were replaced with an amazing effort to match the original and adjacent undamaged areas. Carpeting was replaced and correctly installed iin the furnished areas, and shelving was installed to replace the original shelves and cabinets. When the work was finished, a cleaning service came in to clean the entire basement area. Phil and his S.T.O.P. team made every effort above expectations to answer all questions and attend to all details to ensure our complete satisfaction. For an extremely trying experience, these fine people were outstanding in every aspect, and completely satisfied our every need. They are of the finest quality.!

From the start Service Team of Professionals were wonderful and very responsive. We received a number of quotes and although theirs wasn't the lowest there were a lot of things the others weren't saying they would do or were planning to add on "after they started" which made up the difference in price. Phil and his team were wonderful. They came to our home on a weekday evening to explain everything since I work full time. They were very responsive in scheduling the work around my schedule and keeping me updated. I am very pleased with the result and quality and longevity of the job and work done. I would hire them again in a second and if we ever have an emergency flood or mold issue I know they would come out right away to help us.

Phil, Denise, and their team are phenomenal! After they were finished I realized there is top level of clean above EXTREMELY clean… and thats what my husband and I now call “Phil Clean”. Service Team of Professionals provide a superior level of technical service as well as customer service that is nearly impossible to find anywhere else. We received invaluable advice, top notch care and customer service, and help with areas that went above and beyond the scope of work because Phil saw we needed the help. We knew we could trust Phil as soon as he started pointing out things we could do ourselves before him and his team came in, that saved us a ton of money (what company besides this one does that?!). When we bought our home the mold test came back positive in the crawl space and the home owner “fixed it.” What really happened was they covered it up. Less then a year later I started getting sick and didn’t know the reason why. It got worse and worse until finally my husband and I figured out the problem, and called up Service Team of Professionals. It’s now been two days after they have finished and I feel better then I have in a very long time. I can finally breath! Phil, Denise, and their team truly cared about us as individuals and made sure we were taken care of. You can tell it’s not just a job for them but it’s truly about making a difference and helping others when they are going through a difficult time.

Phil and his sons put in long hours doing difficult and dirty work and we are so grateful to know that once they were done, we were no longer at risk for mold. Phil's team took extra care: our wood floors are special and cannot be easily matched with today's offerings. I know it cost them time to do the rip out in a careful way that would preserve the boards in tact, and we so appreciate it. With that extra effort, we were able to dry out the boards elsewhere and have them reinstalled in a way that looked like there had never been damage in the first place.

Mr.Goodson and crew arrived in two hours after I called and started work right away. His crew started 10am and finished up 8pm that evening. The next morning they were back 10:30 to finish removing remaining floor. His crew put down covering on my floor to protect from any damage while removing debris. After three days of drying the crew returned to remove their equipment. Throughout the entire process Mr.Goodson took photos to submit to my insurance company. They explained exactly what and why they did what they did and always asked if I had any questions. It was always "yes sir" or "no thank you" from his crew.

This company does things the right way. During this difficult time, Phil came to the rescue quickly. His team assessed the issues, explained everything to my wife and I and he executed his plan without a hitch. His team was well mannered, extremely polite and kept everything clean. This company did an amazing job of cleaning up the damage and then repairing/rebuilding those areas. They were meticulous with the work and went above and beyond expectations. Remediation was seamless and professional. All interaction showed that they were down to Earth and cared about me as a customer which is hard to find and a breath of fresh air.
