Phil and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and personable. I got a competing quote which was less than the Service Team price, but I felt incredibly confident in the plan that Phil had for the recovery process - he explained, in detail, what would need to be done, and each step he would take to remove the water damage to our basement ceiling and kitchen floor, caused by our dishwasher. It was evident, after getting the second quote, that Phil knew what he was doing and that he cared about the outcome of the project/my family's safety. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Although we paid a bit more, I would never choose another professional for this kind of service. Phil and his team were worth every penny.

I highly recommend Service Team of Professionals! They came out immediately to take care of my water problem by removing the damage and drying out the rooms. They checked on the progress daily and after that they rebuilt both rooms to make it better than before the damage. They made themselves available to work with the insurance adjuster and were always professional, honest, took pride in their work, arrived when they said they would, and took care to protect the rest of my home. They went beyond my expectations!

Phil and his team (Jay and John) did an outstanding job addressing issues with my wet, moldy basement. From initial contact to get an estimate to the final clean-up, it was a professional, thorough and quality job/experience. It was a big job and they were on site for well over a week cleaning up the mold and demolishing a bathroom. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and in fact, intend to have them back in the future when I have some additional work to be done. They actually completed the work late last fall (Nov 2016) and I have been very remiss in writing this review, but after almost a year, I can report that my basement continues to be dry and mold free! Review was submitted October, 2017 and has just been released by Home Advisor.

Phil was very easy to work with. He explains everything to you and welcomes as many questions as you would like to ask. He also informs of the job that is required to fix the situation in your home. He does not perform the job until he speaks with you and explains the cost to fix the situation. Other professionals would just do it and hit you with a big price but this company does not work like that.

Water Removal Recovery Service
Our experience with Service Team of Professionals Eastern Pa went above my expectations. We had water damage in our basement and Phil Goodson and his crew came out immediately. Phil quickly assessed the situation and was able to let us know that the damage wasn't as bad as we thought it was. While Phil was explaining the process and setting our expectations, his crew was moving our important contents to a safe location. Phil's crew was very conscious of our belongings. We were extremely happy that Phil kept us in the loop for the entire process. We felt that Phil took understood our frustration and was able to keep us calm during a stressful time. I have used S.T.O.P. - Service Team Of Professionals of Eastern PA for several jobs, both big and small. They are now my first phone call for anything having to do with fixing things at a property. We have a rental property in Levittown where there were several issues going on. The main problem was a big build-up of what looked like black mold in the tub & shower surround. The tenant is very clean, and she couldn't keep it off. The grout between the tile on the wall was starting to come loose, and water was getting behind the wall and making the sheetrock soft. The tile surround needed to be replaced, but there was also a concern about the mold, and what may be behind the wall. The tenant's children all have asthma, and I didn't want to take any chances with their health, so I wanted it done right the first time. Phil and his crew at S.T.O.P. - Service Team Of Professionals of Eastern PA were the perfect people for the job. They removed all the old tile, and found mold on the studs and plywood behind the old tile wall. It was nothing major, but it did need to be taken care of properly. One of the best things about S.T.O.P. - Service Team Of Professionals of Eastern PA is that they can remediate a problem, but can also put everything back together again. A one stop shop is a great time-saver for me. After the mold issue was taken care of, they took advantage of the open wall and replaced the 50 year old plumbing behind the wall. All new subway tile went up on the shower walls with a nice accent stripe. It made the bathroom look new again! An additional problem contributing to the mold issue was that the bathroom fan was not moving the hot, moist air out fast enough. They also replaced the bathroom fan with a more powerful one to eliminate the problem.  The 2nd main issue was a "soft" wall in the front of the house that developed a hole. There had been termite damage from many years ago, and the house had also been treated for termites within the last 2 years. A simple replacement of some sheet rock turned into something more serious when the wall was opened up a little more to take a look at the cause. There had been some significant old damage to the wood on the front wall. The project was bigger than anticipated. Phil's team shored up the interior framing, installed new drywall and painted to match the rest of the room. They advised to keep an eye on the wall for any further damage in the future.  While S.T.O.P. - Service Team Of Professionals of Eastern PA was there, I asked them to do a couple more "handyman" type of things, including some repairs on the house heater, a leaky toilet, leaking dishwasher. I'm really glad to know that I can count on Phil and his team for the big stuff, and they are happy to help on the smaller things too. As I started out with in this review, they are my first call!

I hired Service Team of Professionals of Eastern PA to resolve a mold issue that stemmed from a poorly insulated AC duct that ran above the garage in my home. The previous home owners had tried to cover it up via plaster and painting, but in doing so they had created an environment for mold to fester. Phil and his crew came in, thoroughly reviewed the problem, and answered all questions I had. They provided a competitive price, completed the work on time, and ensured everything completed was up to code. They are true professionals; I would hire again.

They responded pretty quickly and where able to come see the damage the next day. The scheduling for the work was easy and their pricing was reasonable. I was very pleased with the work done. They left the wall better than what it was before the mold damage.

The team showed up and were very pleasant and punctual. The were able to save the pool table. The project took longer than I anticipated because unforeseen circumstances came up and additional services were done for us- not on original estimate-at no charge.

I am very impressed with Service Team of Professionals Eastern PA and the level of commitment Phil Goodson and his crew had while doing the mold remediation. We were 1st introduced to their company when my wife who is a realtor hired them to help her client with a water damage job. They were instrumental in saving the deal from falling apart. They not only went above and beyond, but they provide additional services at cost and only charged us for the materials. While they were remediating the mold they discovered a damaged gas line which was leaking gas. Phil Goodson immediately notified us and helped us with the gas company. He even helped us find a qualified contractor to remove the damaged gas pipe and replace the rest of the gas lines. The heater is always turning on and the gas company said the situation would have been a lot worse if the gas had been able to build up and could have caused an explosion. We are greatful Phil and his crew found the leak and informed us!! In my experience not too many companies would have done that. I highly recommend Phil Goodson and Service Team of Professionals Eastern PA!!

Service Team of Professional Eastern PA was great! Phil Goodson and his crew responded quickly and helped get my fathers bathroom and basement back to normal very quickly. They explained everything that was going to happen and stuck to the plan. My father is 84 and has trouble getting up the stairs. It was important to us to have the bathroom back functionable as quickly as possible. Phil and his team work overtime and into the night to stabalize the situation and have the bathroom functionable again. We are very greatful that Phil was able to help us.
