Reedman Toll Auto

BEWARE of dealing with Reedman toll on baltimore pike. My experience with them has been the worst experience of my life, and Chevy corp is no different. After dropping off my work van for “traction control” lights coming on at Reedman Toll, it costs me $190 for this diagnosis and a day of work missed. I told James Esquilin (a service person) to order the part. He said “I got you brother. I ordered it”, when my receipt said customer denied work. This vehicle is just over three years old, and still under the mileage warranty but they say its over three years so tough luck. The repair was going to cost over $900. After two weeks of Reedman toll saying they ordered the part but never did, I was contacted by Chevy and spoke to Mellissa. She assured me she would contact Reedman toll and they could work something out. She had also been notified that I filed a claim with the BBB. The next day when I contacted Mellisa to see what happened, (case number 9-6458825975), she sent me an email saying she was no longer handling the case and Amanda was. (The new case number was 9-6465194687). Amanda said she too would call Reedman and get whats called a cost assistance for me and that Chevy would help me out more. After seven calls to Reedman toll, and even speaking to the service manager Mark, they finally said On 1/23/21 that the part came in and bring my van up. For three weeks they kept saying the part was on order. Lavar even told Amanda from Chevy this on 1/15/21 On 1/27/21 I arrived at 7:30 am and dropped my van off (another missed day of work). I called Amanda and let her know I dropped it off so she could contact the dealer like she had asked. She was going to call them and call me back. Guess what, no call back. Finally at 3:30 I called for a status of my van since I had heard zero from them all day and was put on hold for 28 minutes. I went to Reedman toll (while still on hold) and was told they ordered the wrong part. Three weeks wait and they ordered the wrong part. No one called all day and let me know this, and then when I did call they put me on hold for nearly a half hour Reedman Toll/Thomas Chevrolet is the worst place to take your car for service and I would never buy another Chevy product. I plan on posting this in any news outlet I can find, and anywhere complaints can be filed. After three years and under mileage warranty, I should not need a nearly $1000

They have done a good job for me. I have been happy with the cars I have gotten from them and I will continue to use them. I would recommend them.

The problem still isn't fixed. It's just very frustrating.

They kept my vehicle overnite after assuring me they had the part for the repair I authorized, and that I could wait for the completion. That became another story.

When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that they could not do the repairs, as they had used all their parts on other vehicles. I asked why they did not call me to reschedule my appointment, since they knew they could not perform the work at that time, and the response was a shrug.

I tried to get another appointment, but was told that:

(1) They did not know when they would get more parts. It could take weeks.

(2) They would not call me when the parts were available.

(3) Even if I had an appointment, they would not save the parts for my vehicle. They just put them on whatever truck drives in first, with or without an appointment.

I called the Chrysler/Dodge "Help line" and was told they could do nothing for me, and that I would have to negotiate the matter with Reedman's. They offered to tell me the location of a dealer IN ANOTHER STATE that had SOME of the parts, so I could get one of the repairs done, but that I would still have to work with Reedman's on the other repair.

Apparently, it works like this:  If you can drop off the truck and leave it at Reedman's, for weeks, they might remember it is there and work on it when the parts come in.  If you happen to need the vehicle in the meantime, such as to get to work, you are just out of luck. The only way to be sure of getting these crucial safety issues repaired is to drive the safety-impaired vehicle to Reedman's every morning, possibly for weeks, then sit there all day, hoping the parts might come in, and that they will then work on the vehicle.

Reedman's has no respect for the safety, time, or needs of their customers. Although they swarm you when you arrive at the showroom, they consider service to be of no concern. I would not recommend anyone using this business.

As for Chrysler, they do not show any more concern for their customers. It took them ten years (!) to determine that this model truck has life-threatening safety defects, and now they cannot supply repair parts or even induce their dealers to show some respect for their customers' lives and safety, let alone their time and need to earn a living.

Very well. They diagnosed all the issues, showed me the bad parts that needed replacement and gave me a free loaner while they fixed my car. I was never rushed to make a decision on my old car...they said think about it over the weekend and keep the loaner. I decided to have the work done. When I came to pick up my car, it was washed and running GREAT! They made a very accurate diagnosis, have friendly helpful service writers and do very professional work. I will go back for future repairs on my cars because they do nice work, are honest and easy to deal with. I am very satisfied with the Reedman Toll repair center.

They are reasonable and fair with their services. Every time I have gone there, I was a satisfied customer when I left. If there was something wrong, I could go back and they would correct it. I am

I had an appointment tonight at 7 PM. I confirmed the appointment over a week ago. Not only was the associate not there, he went on vacation and neglected to tell me about it nor the staff. I went on the sales floor, and I was treated very poorly. I was cordial as I thought this is just a misunderstanding. They barely apologized for the inconvenience and told me to come back tomorrow. The sales manager was curt and abrupt. Another sales agent tried to help me, and the older agent interrupted her and said I got this. Then told me again to come back tomorrow, he could not help me tonight. He was rude. For a seasoned car salesman you think you would have some customer service skills. You can buy or sell a car at any dealer. You go back to the dealerships that treat you well. I will not be going back to reedman toll.

My car was done on time and for the amount quoted. |Due to the extremely cold weather that day, they even let me take a demo out to get something to eat while I waited. They exceeded my expectations on customer service. | |

My inspection went well, although it did not pass. I had to get some front end repair work done first. They were quick and courteous, and the manager Jill was especially nice and understanding. They gave me an estimate for the repairs, but I was not able to have the repairs done there, since I knew someone who could do them for less. She was very understanding and told me to come back when they were completed and she would put my inspection sticker on. I had the repairs completed and took the car back and they put my sticker on with no additional charges. They were again prompt and courteous.

Car was taken in promptly when i arrived. They swapped out the wheels for only $20, and re-calibrated the pressure sensors for free. They follow up with service feedback, and send reminders when service is due on the car. Very nice people.

I've never met an auto company that treats their clients so kindly. Their service is excellant and it seemed like they couldn't do enough for us.

They're a pretty fair company. They have a very large selection. They are one of the biggest car dealers in this part of the state.

I have used these people for the past 40 years. They fix everything and they fix it in a reasonable amount of time. They offer loaner cars if need be. They are a little higher priced, but they are very worth it. They are the best! Once they fix, it's fixed. I have never purchased a car from anyone else since I began driving. You're crazy to go anywhere else.

Very well. We test drive our suv first and then pete worked us up some numbers. A few days later we contacted pete and purchased our suv from him. He had all the paperwork ready when we came back and we were done and in our new suv within a half hour pete even went over the entire vehicle with us and showed us how to operate all the complex features.

They are very good.

My experience with them was awful. We made the appointment the night before. My daughter dropped off her car. Later in the day, the guy called my daughter and said that they didn't get to her car. He said that she would have to bring it back the next day. I went there and they ended up doing the oil change. I will never go back to this company.
