They were prompt with the estimate and reasonably priced. They waited for the fabric to come in before taking the furniture and turned it around in record time. They exceeded our expectations. Ken is the owner who seems passionate about his business and the custom satisfaction.

Fantastic! From the directions to their location to the final results, Peresta's was detailed, professional, courteous and not just on-time, but early! We had smaller items so we didn't need their pick-up/delivery but it was good to know it was available. The re-upholstering we had done seems to be fading quickly so we are probably going to be repeat customers to Peresta's later in 2017.

I am very very happy with the completed project. They came out to the house to see the furniture and brought upholstery samples for me to choose from. I voiced my concerns about cat hair and ability to clean the fabric in general, which helped narrow down my choices. They were very willing to help guide me in a certain direction considering my pieces, and ultimately I am happy with the choices I made. Overall, they were very prompt, polite, and knowledgeable.

Everything has been wonderful. I've used him for like 20 years. I would use them again in the future.

He does a great job. I have known him for 20 years. Upholsters are hard to find so I would definitely recommend him. Probably it was umbrella fabric because it was in my beach house so I think the chairs needed a lot of work.

We had an old This End Up recliner that had seen better days but we wanted it upgraded with new upholstery. I called and made an appointment with Ken who came out to look at it. He inspected it, pronounced that he could do it, and proceeded to show me a wide variety of fabric samples. I picked one and gave him a deposit, and he said he'd be in touch when he was ready to take it. About 6 weeks after the initial appointment, he called to say that they were ready for it, and his assistants came over and picked the old chair up. Almost 2 weeks to the day, he called to say it was ready, and we arranged a drop off time. His assistants moved some furniture to accommodate the "new" piece and carefully moved the new recliner into place... and it looks fantastic! He did a marvelous job and brought life back to a 25 yr old piece,

not too many details to tell..... we took the cushions over, they promised  service  completion by a certain date and we paid what we thought was  a reasonable price for the replacement foam. Several options were discussed , but this one made the best sense. They were very nice to deal with and did a fine job.

Ken was extremely prompt. He returned my email the same day I contacted him. I was able to message him a picture of the chairs in question and he had a quote for me the same evening! He came to the house and picked up the seats and returned them in the promised two weeks.... allowing for the order for the leather and the labor needed. He was professional in all respects. We could not be happier with the results and would most certainly recommend him and will certainly happily use his services in the future.

Exceeded expectations! Great craftsmanship. Personable pick-up and delivery crew. Very reasonable labor charge. Best of all: extremely fast turnaround. They didn't come to get our sofa until they were ready to work on it and returned it, looking like it was brand new, in 10 days. Mr Peresta came to my house and showed me some fabrics. We also discussed the pillow sotness. I could not pick a fabric I liked although he did show us some samples he thought would work in our space. He alllowed me to come and pick out a fabric at his workshop, but I ultimately picked the sample he suggested. We were supposed to have them worked on  in January, but he had about a week and a half before Christmas. Even though I told him we did not need them done for the holidays, he and his guys worked to bring them to me before Christmas. They are beautiful and the fabric he suggested worked very well. I could not be more pleased. He was very professional. He always got back to me. The guys found an old credit card in the sofa and were very honest,  They called me right away and gave it to me.

I?m writing this review because I think that Peresta Custom
Upholstery surely lives up to there letter head. I check Angie List for some
one to recover our dinning room chairs that we have had for 30 years. My wife
keeps them looking like the day they were delivered except for the seating that
just wore out. My contact via phone with Peresta was very pleasant.  We decided that we were going to let Peresta
repair our chairs and discussed price with Dan who directed me to remove the
seats and to bring them to there place of business. I arrived and observed a
building with two service trucks outside with the Name of Peresta Upholstery.
The first person I met as I entered the building was a worker by name of Joe
who was again pleasant and welcomed my wife and me. We had a nice conversation about
our chair seats and then Dan who was attending to another customer introduced
himself and explained how they ere going to replace the foam and recover the
seats.
Dan stated that they would be finished in a week. To my
surprise I received a call from Ken Peresta who ID himself as the owner and
question me how the seats were positioned on the chairs, I tried to explain
what I observed .Ken stated that he was going to send his delivery truck to
pick up the chairs in question because he wanted to make sure that the job was
done correctly and to make sure that we were happy with his work quality. I was
no doubt impressed with his concerns. Ken did send his truck and picked up the
chairs and returned them finished. My wife was very pleased with the quality of
workmanship. We would highly recommend Peresta?s Upholstery and would use them
in the future.

I inherited an old chair from a family friend that had great bones but needed a facelift so I needed to find an upholstery guy to bring it back to life. From the time that I called Peresta's I had a good feeling. The gentleman that I spoke to on the phone was so informative and took the time to talk to me about the work that I needed to do. He instructed me to take some pictures with my phone and to test them to Ken (owner) and he could give me a rough estimate as to how much the work would cost. I did just that and within minutes had an estimate. We made an appointment for Ken to come on out to see the chair in person and to being some fabric books. He came the next day, was right on time, and we picked out a fabric relatively quickly. He gave me a full estimate and even though it was more than I wanted to pay or had guesstimated it would cost ( note: I didn't do any comparative shopping, but knew what others paid for similar work from other companies.), I went with him because I felt super comfortable with him and his staff. Once the fabric came in form being ordered, his staff came to pick up the chair and a few weeks later delivered it. It looked great! Good as new if not better. There is no way that I could have found a new chair like this one anywhere. It's an American made chair and is the perfect size for my house. They just don't make chairs like this anymore. Ken did an amazing job. I sent pictures of the chair to the former owner and he said he liked it now better than when he had it. And that's a ringing endowments since he almost cried when he gave up the chair to me when he had to move. I'm so happy that the chair will live out another 30+ years in my home.

They were awesome!  The owner came out and gave us an estimate which was far below what we thought we would have to pay to recover the sofa.  (It was over 100 inches long.)  He brought sample books with him and helped us pick a fabric that worked with our existing furniture and 2 little boys.  He was up front in letting us know that repeating the diamond tufting pattern on the back would be time consuming and agreed with us when we decided to not repeat the tufting because it felt a little formal for our home.  Peroni's replaced all the foam in the couch and did an amazing job.  Pretty sure the couch frame was made in the 70s and you would not be able to tell.

Only thing was that we requested arm covers and they didn't come with the couch.  When I called they offered to order more fabric and make them for us but I forgot to call back so that is on me and not them.  The work was completed on time, they were very professional and we love the finished product. 

We will definitely use Peroni's again if we need anything reupholstered.

The upholstery of the chairs in our high school lobby were stained and showing ten years of constant use. Cleaning didn't remove or help the problem, so the only solution was to reupholster them. We had three quotes from local businesses, all from Angie's List. Ken Peresta and his coworker were one of our choices. His prices were right in line with the other quotes we received. We were impressed with his punctuality and knowledge. He gave us a written quote with complete information. When he had an opening in his schedule, he called and made time to come out and got the work done in two days instead of the two weeks that we were expecting. All the cushions were neatly wrapped and stacked. The chairs look wonderful and we are very happy with his suggested material. We feel these will last a good long time.

Reupholstered an armchair with customer's own fabric. Polished the cherry wood arms and legs.

Very good quality. Not cheap but good work. Takes awhile.

They did an excellent job, and it was ready by Thanksgiving as promised.

Came to provide an estimate the same day we called.  Big selection of fabrics.  The work was done well ahead of the promised delivery date.  Pick-up and delivery were included and punctual.  Very satisfied with Peresta's!
