I pay a monthly fee for Sears Appliance Repair. Sears outsources the service. They told me to call Martone. I called and the repairman comes out on the day I requested, fixes my dishwasher and tells my husband what is wrong with my washing machine and that it is probably still under manufacturers warranty and to call Whirlpool. It wasn't so I call Sears back to have Martone come back out to service the washing machine and the man who answered the phone tells me that he doesn't service Whirlpool appliances. ALL of my appliances are Whirlpool and he fixed my dishwasher! So now I had to call Sears again to have them send someone else out. I don't think I will be calling them again.

When I first called, they sounded like I was bothering them for even calling. They looked at my microwave and told me it was not able to be fixed and I should buy a new one. I got a second opinion and the next service person was able to fix the microwave in an hour.

Called a number of different services. They were either unresponsive or told me they couldnt come out until the following week. Called Martone at 10am and they said they would be out between 12-2. Tim Toner got there at 1145, assesed the problem immediately and had it fixed and out the door by 1215. Absolute life saver. This is a first class organization - no nonsense straight forward, does the work effeciently at a fair price and moves on. Will absolutely call again and I highly recommend.

I have a home warranty and they gave me the contact information for this place. 


I called on May 12th and told them the problem and that I did not need them to come out right away since the oven hadn't worked since I bought the house in February of 2013.  I was taking off on the 15th, so the appointment was set up for between 11:00 and 1:00.  So, I decided to run some errands pretty early that I can only take care of during normal work hours.  I was on my way home around 9:30 when the technician called and said he could be at my house within 45 minutes.  The technician arrived before 10:15.  I was very happy for the early arrival.


He got right to work and fixed my oven and told me the problem.  Since the problem was mice eating through wires (and other things), my warranty wouldn't cover a replacement stove and that if it stops working again, it would need a part that costs more than the stove is worth. 

Hopefully, the mice have thought better of coming into a house with 3 cats.


I would absolutely recommend Martone Appliance to everyone.

When I called around 11:00am to inquire about service. I was told a technician would come between 2-3:00pm today. I was thrilled by this. Tim arrived at 2:15 and knew exactly what to do. He was very professional and knew exactly what was wrong. He gave me great information about how to get more efficiency from my dryer. He finished the job in about 15 min.
I do not know what an excellent price would be for this repair , but he was in the ballpark of the other estimates I had received.
Afterwards, compared the price of the parts and considered the amount of time he spent, and I realized that I am paying for his knowledge and expertise and I suppose that's fair.

Great service by Tim and the Martone team. He was dispatched as an approved service provider for my home warranty contract and I have to say I was a little concerned about the quality of the company that would be arriving. Tim was scheduled to be at my house between 2-4pm and he arrived a little after 2pm. Came right in, assessed the problem with our frig, and had it repair with in 45 minutes. I tend to be a bit of a pest when a service person comes to my home. I like to know whats going on and what went wrong. Tim gave me the play by play, told me what he was doing, what most likely caused the issue and what I could do to prevent it in the future. Great guy, great service........cant ask for much more than that.

16 year old clothes washer was not working. Scheduled appointment with Sear's and they did not show up for the appointment. Stayed home from work, called to ask where they were, and got some lame excuse about computer network being down. Called Martone and Repairman called back shortly after calling the office. He diagnosed problem over the phone. He explained that necessary replacement part was expensive, but recommended spending the money because of quality of the machine. Came out that day and installed new part. Washing machine was fixed the same day.

As unhappy as I was with Sear's, I was more pleased with Martone's.

What I liked about their work was the speed and effectiveness. He showed up quickly and got the problem resolved. I have used him on about half a dozen occasions on things and he has done a fine job every time.
