Water softener removal was done properly, but contents of water softener were poured onto my lawn and not cleaned up by plumbing crew, leaving my lawn burnt from the salts. Bathroom faucets were installed fine, but shower kit could not be installed due to unexpected complications: Cutting out part of a wall behind the shower, which the plumber recommended but I refused to allow. In the midst of the pandemic, the two plumbers did not initially wear masks for this indoor job until my wife (who is a nurse specializing in infection prevention) asked them to, and even then, one of them wore it improperly. The cost was well above what was quoted, despite the fact that they did not install the shower kit. The plumber could not break down the costs of the job to help me understand why I was paying $440 for two simple jobs that took less than two hours and involved only $10 worth of parts. A subsequent email from a manager claimed that the labor costs came to $430 and included an hour of travel time for the two plumbers, which I was not told about up front. Their office is around 25 minutes drive from my house. I will never hire this company again nor recommend them to anyone I know.

In response, at time of scheduling an hourly rate was quoted as a rough estimate. This would begin at time of dispatch to completion of the job as noted on the technician work order. For this job a helper was provided at minimal cost to assist in removing the tank which required 2 technicians. Please note, proper procedure and wearing of the mask has been reviewed and emphasized with all technicians."

We had an emergency arise on a Sunday night. The main house drain line for the house was clogged, and water was flowing out from under the downstairs toilet and flooding the bathroom. I called one plumbing company, but they were unable to come until the middle of the next day. I then called K. E. Seifert, and was advised someone would be there within the hour. Dominic, and Dan arrived within the specified time frame and got right to work. They were very professional, and placed drop cloths to protect the carpeting outside the bathroom. There were no cleanouts between the bathroom and sewer, so the toilet needed to be pulled up so they could clear the line. They cleared the line, and installed the toilet again all within a reasonable amount of time. The next day, we had water in the bathroom once more. I called the company back, and Dominic and Jason came out. By the time they arrived the problem was no longer occurring. It appeared that another clog had occurred, but cleared. They ran a camera through the line, and invited me to watch the screen. They were able to confirm there were no clogs remaining, but there were a couple of small roots inside the pipe. Jason advised the pipe should be replaced at some point, and had some recommendations on how to proceed. Dominic installed the toilet again, and after they had left I noticed something. The company who installed the toilet several years ago didn't install the white caps over the bolts, and they became rusty and unsightly over time. Dominic installed the caps after he installed the toilet. The toilet had to be shimmed also, because the floor was not level. The original installer caulked around the toilet bottom, and it was not a professional looking installation. As I used to work in a trade, I noticed this. This is a sign to me that K.E. Seifert's technicians take pride in their work, and even though it was a small detail I was so impressed by it. K.E.Seifert is now "our plumber". I would like to K.E. Seifert for being available on short notice on a Sunday night. I would also like to thank Dominic, Dan, and Jason for doing such a great job.

On Christmas Eve, 2019, my oil heater stopped heating. I called the company that had installed the system in 2013, but was told no one was available until Friday 27 December 2019. The tech arrived on that Friday, stated that it was a Defective Circulator Pump and that he would order a part, the same tech was redispatched on Monday 30 December 2019 to get additional information for the "ordered part". After numerous calls to the company's customer service, where i was informed the the art WAS NOT ORDERED, THEN THAT IT WAS ORDERED, but that another email would have to be sent to the parts department for a status update. Finally on Wednesday 08 January 2020, i contacted K.E SEIFERT INC, I spoke with Pam , explained the situation and was informed that a tech could be dispatched that very afternoon. Then tech, NICK, arrived as promised, diagnosed the problem as defective sensors in the TACO Circulator Pump, did a temporary fix in order for me to have heat and ordered the replacement parts. On Thursday 09 January 2020, I received a call from Pam that the required parts had been located and that a tech was available to install them that same day. The tech Nick arrived later that day, installed the replacement sensors, insured that the oil system was providing heat and functioning properly . Both Pam and Nick did an OUTSTANDING JOB in resolving the issue. The total cost for the parts and labor was $401.

Discovered hot water heater was leaking, call then at 9am, said someone would be out between 12 to 2. Techs arrived at 11, very professional and worked quickly ! Second time in 6 months had to have them come out for work (rotten luck !) Very Satisfied

Had what turned out to be a supply line water pipe (behind wall) leak and was causing damage to downstairs ceiling. Called at 4:30pm on a Friday and had a tech out at the house by 6 ! Quickly found the problem and repaired the leaking pipe, very clean. Would recommend !

An excellent experience throughout the project. From the representative's visit to the work crew the project was flawless. A large project because they were retrofitting an older home without existing duct-work. In three days they neatly and expertly retrofitted our home with central air and heat pump system. The system, itself, is extremely quiet and works very well in cooling our home. Jim, Jeff and crew were personable and a pleasure to have in our home. We felt the price was commensurate with the vast amount of work needed to complete the project

Definitely call them for your HVAC needs. In late February of this year my heater (heat pump) stopped working on a Friday afternoon. I called the company I had done business with for years and who had actually installed my heater 13 years earlier and who I had a service contract with, for help. The owner came out, got the heater working, told me I needed to replace it and that he would have a quote on Monday for a new one. Later that night, the heater stopped working again and I called the emergency service number. The answering service took the message but no one ever called me back. I called at least three times and no one ever got back to me. After suffering through the weekend without heat, I contacted KE Seifert. Jim Ivey came out, assessed and diagnosed the problem and informed me that by replacing one part, I did not need to replace the unit and could get at least 5 more years out of my current unit. The part was on backorder and took several days to come in but rather than have me continue to suffer without heat, his team of technicians led by Mark was able to do a temporary fix that would allow me to have heat until it did. When the part came in, they came right over and installed and my heating/AC is working perfectly. The technicians were courteous, knowledgeable and took time to explain what needed to be done. I now have a service agreement with them and when my unit does finally need to be replaced, I will call KE Seifert. I’m a bit late submitting this review as It’s now early May but I want to be sure to let everyone know to call them for your HVAC repairs.

I requested a quotes to install my controlled water valve and KE Seifert responded immediately. They came out at my requested time to scope out the job and gave me a good price. I initially submitted a request for a quote on an installation of a Pressure reducing value and also the relocation of a hose bib. The quote did not separate the costs for each which is my only complaint about the company. I asked them to resubmit a bid for just the PRV which they completed and we decided to move forward. When the tech arrived at our house, he determined that the quote did not include more extensive work which would need to be completed for installation. However, the company honored their quote and completed the work. They did a fantastic job and we will be using them in future for all our plumbing and HVAC needs.

Was on time - even a few minutes early. The first time he had a sump pump on the truck, so replacement was done right then and there. The second pump was still working, but equally as old, so we decided to make an appointment and have it replaced. Both appointments were smooth and hassle free!

From the initial sales call, to the estimate, to the installation, the company and the employees were great to deal with. The hot water heater removal and install went well but there were defective ball valves that were newly installed by the contractor that didnt work and had to be replaced. There was no further damage as these ball valves were deemed defective duringinstallation.
