When they finally got to our roof (6-7 weeks after contact was signed, they removed half the roof and told us it would cost an extra $5000-6000 over the original estimate to replace all the plywood needed. The roof was half off; we had no choice but to pay this extortion. At the time of the estimate we were told it "might" cost "a couple hundred extra to replace plywood". Other problems such as mediocre cleanup,slow response to callbacks for poor gutter installation, swearing jags by workers,streaks on driveway from dumpster that wont come off, etc. were minor annoyances compared to the eventual increase of $4500 over the estimate. I waited this long to file a report to see if the roof leaked. It hasn't so far.

"THIS CUSTOMER WAS NEVER TOLD IT WOULD BE AN EXTRA "COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS" TO REPLACE THE PLYWOOD. HE HAD SHINGLES OVER CEDER AND DID NOT LET ANYONE KNOW OF THIS BEFORE WE STARTED THE WORK. WE HAVE AN IMPECCABLE RECORD WITH THE BBB FOR OUR PRACTICES AND ARE A MEMBER OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. WE DO NOT "HIDE" COSTS. THIS PERSON WAS HARD TO PLEASE FROM THE GET-GO. I CAN UNDERSTAND BEING UPSET FOR THE EXTRA COST BUT FLO-MASTER DID NOT PROFIT FROM THE EXTRA CHARGE. WE ALSO DO NOT USE DUMPSTERS AND HAVE A DUMP TRAILER. NOT SURE WHAT THE STREAKS ARE. COULD BE OIL FROM A TRUCK LEAKING. THIS WAS NOT BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION. AS FAR AS THE GUTTER LEAKING, MINOR PROBLEMS OCCUR AND A SERVICE CALL WOULD GIVE US THE CHANCE TO ANSWER THAT. AS FAR AS I KNOW, YOUR GUTTER WAS SEALED PROPERLY AND THERE HASN'T BEEN AN ISSUE."
