Bill, the owner and installer (office # 215-741-3278) was very professional and did a great job. Though based in Pennsylvania, does provide service in my area which is close to Cherry Hill Mall. I highly recommend Exterior Improvement, Inc.

Bill was very polite and patient. He was waiting for me when I returned from church on sunday.He worked aabout an hour to put the door back on track, that was not easy. He worked another 45 min. to make sure the door would go up and down so that I would not have a hard time working with it if I had to get into the garage. WE CAREsent Bill to me, Thanks to WE CARE  for sendig him. I think that Bill Marshall is an expert at what he does and I will  recommend him in the future.

We were a little upset with the price. We did not get a new garge door or anything, one of the springs on our door broke. He came out the day after we called and immediatly started working on the door. He replaced all the working parts - the cables, wheels, and springs. He only here about an hour. When we got our billed it seemed like every part he used was $25.00, whiched ened up adding up to $155.00. He charged us $165.00 for an hour of labor. He did provide us with a senior discount - $50.00 off, but it was still a lot of money for 1 hour of work. The price just didn't seem like it fit the job.  It was a learning experience for us to start asking for pricing up front.  The gentleman who came to my home was very personable and came out the next day.  He started working right away and was able to get the door working much better.

70 year old wooden garage door finally gave out!   Found out about Bill Marshall, owner of Exterior Improvement, Inc, and called him, left message with his wife.  He returned my call within a few hours.   At my convenience on 6/25/11, he came out.  What was impressive was that he called me when he was on his way!  Mr. Marshall provided an estimate which was in the ballpark of what he charged my neighbor 3 years before. It was an extremely reasonable price for a Genie manufactured and warrantied 8' x 6' row home garage door with capping, steel insulated raised panel and trash removal.  With just a $25 deposit, we scheduled installation for 7/8/11.  Bill called on 7/7/11 and asked if we could move the installation to that Sunday.  That was not a problem.  On Sunday, 7/10, Bill called me to let me know he was on his way.  Installation took about 4 hours from start to finish. 

Bill Marshall, owner of Exterior Improvement, Inc, is a rare gem.  He actually communicates!  Calls when he's on his way.  Let's you know if there's any problem in advance.  Does the job himself so I was dealing with the owner and the installer!  He cleaned up - I mean you would never know any work was done - there was not a piece of steel or capping material left in my driveway!  His guarantee includes that he will fix or repair any issues as long as he is in business (and he plans to be in business a long time!) and if he should retire, my warranty remains good with the Genie company.
