After dropping off the computer, they promised to have the job done in "3 to 4" days. Didn't hear from them until day 6 - they needed the password to access my machine. In essence, they hadn't touched it all week. A day later they called back and said they had to "wipe my machine clean" and I lost the software that was on the machine. However, they were kind enough to re-install my current version of windows. These guys make promises they can't keep.

I purchased a desktop computer system from this company in the spring of 2010. I felt the price was a little steep especially since it did not include such simple accessories as a keyboard or mouse. However, I had these on hand and didn't think much of it.Of prime concern was that if I needed service I could bring it to a local shop rather than have to ship it to a service center or deal with a large national chain service center.
Several months after I bought the machine I had a sudden 'blue screen' failure. It didn't repeat itself and I attributed it to a one-time glitch. However, as time went on it began happening more often and I eventually brought it in for service. The technician- whose name I unfortunately failed to obtain- called a day or so later to tell me that the motherboard was "shot." He also told me there were hard drive failures. I asked him about replacing the motherboard, and he flatly dismissed this as an option.
He stated that since he could not tell why the motherboard had failed that he would not guarantee any replacement work and that my only option was to purchase an entire new system. I did ask him to back up my hard-drive data in case the alleged hard drive faults were portending failure, and I picked the machine up a few days later.
My back-up disks were given to me with no sleeves of any kind, leaving them prone to damage. The young man at the counter did not seem to feel there was anything wrong with this. When I got home I found out that my data had been moved to the disks rather than copied; I had to re-load the data in the proper directories on the hard drive.
I then brought the machine to the firm that handles our company's IT systems. Their investigation revealed that this machine had been assembled in a careless and sloppy manner, specifically:
1. The motherboard was not mounted to the case using "stand-offs." This allowed it to contact the case and was likely a cause of the motherboard failure.
2. Wire splices in the machine were covered with Scotch tape
3. The hard- and optical-drives were not secure as the improper screws were used.
The machine continues to fail randomly. It failed once while I was synchronizing my BlackBerry device rendering it useless
This firm takes a casual attitude toward customer service and quality of their products.

Asked them to heck computer to find out what was wrong with it after I spilled water on it - on expedited basis. Then transferred computer files to backup external drive.Did not clearly communicate the cost of the work (communicated only the cost for the diagnosis, at expedited cost because I had it done quickly. When tech called with the info, he did not mention additional charges. When I went in to pick it up and saw the bill (which was $100 more than expected), I suggested that the tech make sure in the future to communicate the cost of repair - he sort of shrugged. Failed to return the power cord with the computer and by the time I realized that it had not been returned, they lost it.Completely unapologetic about not returning the cord. Suggested I buy a after-market power cord (which would cost additional $$). Did not offer to, perhaps, help me with the situationBottom line - for a service company - the worst service I have ever had. Made an already painful situation much worse.
