Zooks Masonry

We had work done on our chimney on 2 prior occasions from other chimney repairmen. The work was always patching the problems by repointing the bricks etc. and was very expensive. The prior work done never really fixed the problem, it was just a temporary bandaid. We had more estimates to again try and fix our issues for good. The estimates were so costly that we just couldn't afford to spend even more on a chimney to repair the suggested top twelve rows. When we contacted Zooks Masonry, Mel mentioned how bad the chimney was and suggested instead of just patching the chimney's top rows, to do it right it needed to be completely rebuilt from the roofline up. The two gentlemen were here for two terribly hot days in June and worked very long hours. They were able to reuse many of our original bricks adding new if needed. He matched the cement to the rest of the brick on the front of our home. This chimney looks amazing! This chimney has been such a source of stress over the past ten years of living in our home. The chimney is built to last and I know we will not have any more issues for decades to come. My husband and I are so pleased with Mel Zook's workmanship we plan to have him do over our brick walkway this fall.
