They did a great job and were professional. My only complaint is the price charged for the part, which was about three times more than the online retail price. I understand a modest markup, but that seemed rather steep to me.

Service was quick and professional but with initial charge jus to show up of $109, the bill came out to $200 an hour! No parts, just service. Wow! Good work but price gouging is not worth it.

They came out to do the work with a reasonable weekend charge. The company we normally use has an outrageous fee to do work after hours. Had to add an additional overflow tank we weren't expecting to buy. The work was done in one visit, and the rep was very professional and competent.

After being frustrated with one or more other unresponsive companies, contacted Ranck. They responded and dispatched a plumber within just an hour or two. After the first plumber replaced the anode rod, the water heater again leaked. A more seasoned technician was sent later who found that the water heater needed replaced. He also determined that the water heater was still under warranty which we didn't know because we recently purchased the house. Yet another employee picked up the new water heater somewhere while the first plumber removed and prepped the site. Very professional and quality workmanship. Cleaned up the work area thoroughly after job completion. Only paid labor cost and further, the company even gave back credit for the unneeded first anode rod. Definitely will use this company for future services.

Paul Swisher Jr. did excellent work and gave us some valuable advice and alternate solutions for potential projects down the road.

This was an awful experience. They came out to clear a main sewer line. After spending time running an auger, it was determined that there was nothing they could do and said they could call another company to subcontract work to the next day. They charged me over $500 for nothing. I decided to call a different company to do that work, so that I would not have to deal with Ranck again.

Luckily I was able to get bumped up to an earlier time for my plumbing issue the technician arrived three hours early which was great because I could still get to work. Jeff was very professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable. He fixed my leaking issue in an hour and the cost was very reasonable. I will hire them again.

Your son was efficient and neat.  Did a commendable job.  After 50 years in Mountville it looks like we have a plumber.

Paul Jr was on time, quickly completed the tasks, cleaned up - all great.

He was very prompt and began work quickly and was done in just 20 minutes. We thought the service fee was a little high for that little amount of work bit it was a set fee to come out. The work was done well and we are satisfied.

He arrived at about 9 am as said. Went down stairs with tools. Got started right away. We talked while he worked a few minutes. I left for a DR appt. and run errands. Got back at 2:00 pm. He was gone.

He was very nice, did a neat professional job. He wore booties over shoes. Thank him for keeping wood floors clean... Wish other contractor ( ie tile person) had the decency to do that!! I will definitely use him again. The new faucet looks great.

Called about the problem around 9:00 am. Plumber came within 2 hrs. Problem fixed. Part needed was on his truck.

The service was excellent. It was a difficult job but Swisher's made sure to do everything needed to get the job done. Couldn't be more pleased with the professional and courteous service we received.

We were slightly out of their normal area -- 25 minute drive so I appreciated them coming out to accommodate. He was knowledgeable, friendly, provided an overview of the work and information for future projects. The service fee was very reasonable ($375 for about 2.5 hrs of service), but I felt the profit margin on parts had a high markup. They did honor the Angie's list coupon, and you can have confidence they are going to do it right the first time. He allowed me to test everything after he was done with the work to confirm my satisfaction -- very rare to find! I like the family businesses, because you do get the personal touch. I'll pay more for great service and a job well done with the knowledge and skills to back it up! It's so nice to have people who understand great customer service and are so friendly and helpful when they arrive to complete a service! Total bill was $574 after the coupon discount.

Needed toilet checked for leak and reset

I've had this family doing all of my plumbing needs for 35 years. It's a father-son business. When his son was young, the dad used to bring him along as his gopher, then as an apprentice. I would have no one else doing my work. They're almost family!
