DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING AND HEATING COMPANY. THEY WILL PRICE GOUGE YOU. If choosing 0 stars was an option, I would. I had called for service on 6/11 after discovering that my air conditioner wasn't responding to my thermostat. They were flexible and able to get a technician to my house on the same day, which I felt was helpful. Upon the technician coming to my house, I lead him to the garage where my breaker units are to turn off the AC unit power so he may address it safely. When entering my garage the technician noticed my bright red sports car. He made a comment about it and I didn't think anything about it, but this is probably where the price gouging had started. He then did a diagnosis of the components in my heating and AC units. He came back with the observation of a condensate pump being defective and needing replaced. I am not the most mechanically inclined person, so when he told me that a condensate pump was $773 for the part and installation, I didn't hesitate because I assumed that the professionals would have my best interest in mind. After signing off on the repair the technician did his work and left. I called my father who is a bit more mechanically inclined, and he told me immediately that I got taken advantage of. The exact item that was replaced in my house costs $53 from Home Depot. They up charged me 1400% on this part and installation. This is absolutely criminal, how could a business charge a client that much more than the cost of the part? Worst part? I have been a repeat customer. I had allowed this company to replace my furnace in 2018. Please let my mistake be your lesson. When getting a verbal quote about a part needing replaced... GOOGLE IT. Save yourself the $723 difference that I had spent. Absolutely deplorable, Neffsville. Be better.

In January 2021, Neffsville repaired our sewer line. The sidewalk was never repaved. We assumed the work would be done per our contract. It was never completed. In May 2021, we called and asked why the job had not been completed. We were met with rudeness. Later in 2021 we called again. We received no meaningful response. In early April of 2022, we called to ask why the job was never completed. We were assured that we would receive a call back to let us know when the job would be completed. We received no call back. In early May 2022, a full month later, we called again. That time, we were told they would be "out tomorrow." Nearly a year and a half later, the job was still incomplete. We paid $10,000 for an incomplete job. It appears now that they are completing the job, but only after nearly a year and a half, and repeated calls. This has been an altogether unnecessarily stressful experience, and we would never recommend Neffsville to anyone for any reason. An all-around lack of professionalism and an ultimately indifferent attitude to completing the job.

We had them come out to fix a water fridge line. Quoted us $481 dollars for a job that should be under $200. Fortunately we researched typical costs prior to their visit and so we declined their work. We did it ourselves for less than $20 by getting the water line kit (for $17) at Lowe’s. I reached out to them to request how they came up with $481 and they responded in a very passive aggressive way — that they aren’t the cheapest and they pride themselves on being quality etc. But they never did answer the question and provide a breakdown of services and costs. I wasn’t expecting them to be cheap. In fact, I steer clear of cheap. However, $481 is way above what it would cost even paying graciously for parts, labor and other overhead costs. So please be weary about services offered here. There pricing is way above standards and it is likely you are paying way more than comparable services. Neffsville should be ashamed to try to rip people off like that. Phew.

Expensive, even with an annual contract (which I am not renewing). Even with the contract, there can be quite a wait until the appointment time. Seem to put as much time into upselling products and services as into making requested repairs. Do not recommend. No complaints about quality of work, or punctuality, though.

We called and they gave us an appointment for the next day. Later that afternoon, they called and said they could make it in an hour. After looking at the tub and the damage from the ceiling below, he determined the bathtub drain needed resealed because there was a gap between the tub and the drain. He resealed the drain and we were able to use it the next day. What I really liked was the advice he gave. We mentioned having to replace the wet drywall. He suggested putting in a panel that we could pop out so plumbers could get to the pipes easier and without the cost of cutting through drywall. (We did.) He also mentioned that he could hear our toilet running and suggested which guts to buy and replace. (We did that, too.)

The entire process from the estimate of the project until the AC installation was only a week ! This was amazing since this was at the height of the 90's plus heat wave, too The installers were hard workers and continued working despite the 90 degree heat that day & finished in 7 hours. Another company had promised a 3 day installation time period. John & Lex were very professional and competent . I will definitely hire Neffsville Plumbing, Heating & Cooling again.

Excellent techican from Neffville came in located the problem called back for parts and adapters. I was so please while he waited he looked at my sum pump situation and gave me estimate on battery backup system... which he came back the very next week and installed..

They informed me that it would be $57.50 for a service call and I agreed to that price, since I had assumed it meant I would pay $57.50 and in return, they would tell me what was wrong and give me an estimate to repair the problem. However, the technician came out, turned the pump on to confirm that it would run manually, I told him what I thought the issue was, and he told me that it would be over $250 to diagnose the problem, and then if the problem was what I thought it was, it would be approximately over $550, so the total would be over $800. He didn't take the cover off of the pump or look at anything other than the on-switch. I was floored that I had to pay $57.50 simply for someone to drive to my house, and that they wanted to charge me over $250 just to tell me what was wrong. I thought the service call fee covered someone coming out to tell me what was wrong and to give me an estimate. I never thought I'd have to pay $57.50 for someone to drive to my house and tell me that I'd have to pay another over $250 and THEN someone could tell me how much I would have to pay for the actual repairs. In my mind, that's just absurd. I had no problem with a service call fee, since I know that's common; I just think it's ridiculous that the service call fee only covered the drive to my house and nothing more. I had another company come out for a free consultation, and they actually took the cover off, looked into the pump, figured out what the problem was, and then gave me an estimate for repairs. I can't speak to Neffsville's quality of work, since I didn't want to pay so much just to get an estimate. But I don't think I will be calling them again since I don't like the idea of paying a service call fee and receiving absolutely no information from it except for how much it's going to cost to get an estimate for the work required.

We googled the first plumbers we saw (at 6:45a, mind you!) and not only did Neffsville answer, but sent someone out to us within 2 hours of the call. The techs were great, very nice and knowledgable and did a good job. The bill seemed high, but what did we know - it was an emergency and our first house. We renovated our kitchen a month later, and their estimate for the plumbing work came more than double other reputable companies. Needless to say, we went with someone else for that work.

The front office and the techs who came to our house were very professional, easy to work with, and punctual. The first visit to diagnose the problem with our heating resulted in an estimate for a fairly large job that had to be scheduled a few days out. Of course, they pushed their subscription service, which we signed-up for, since it would be more than covered by the savings on just the first job we were about to undertake. The repair took a full morning and part of the afternoon, and the tech left us with a new pump, new valves, and a remarkably clean work space.
On an evening of the first weekend after the repair, I noticed a leak around the new pump. I called Neffsville and they immediately sent a tech to our house to address the issue. Granted, it would have been better if the issue had not come up in the first place, but I truly appreciated their responsiveness and their commitment to stand behind their work.
I would definitely consider Neffsville for future projects.
