Dutch Quality performed extensive remodeling, including installation of a very expensive cedar roof. Dutch Quality’s use of improper roofing nails caused the shingles to fall off after less than 15 years. Properly installed cedar roofing typically lasts at least 50 years. Had to replace at significant additional expense.

While I was not involved with your project when it was completed I did take the time to review the roofing work performed on your home. First, I would like to thank you and [Member Name Removed] for inviting us to work on multiple different projects at your home between 1999 and 2003. Regarding the roofing, the gentleman who installed the roof was a specialty contractor with over 25 years of experience installing cedar shingles. It does appear from the information we have on record that all of the best installation practices were followed. In the nearly twenty years since the roof was installed we have not received any complaints from you about the roof or any requests for warranty or repair work. Dutch Quality has been in business for 42 years and in that time we have completed over 1,500 projects in Lancaster County. As a company, we strive to give our customers the best service and finished product possible and we do not shy away from addressing any concerns when warranted.
