professionally. It looked fantastic. I waited until this year to write a review because I wanted to make sure that all the
perennials bloomed. In June I called and told them that the grasses did not came up and was told to wait until July that
some times they take longer. I was contacted the end of July and told them that they still hadn't come up and they said they
would be out to replant, as per the agreement. I was called a week later and told they were not perennials that were
planted but annuals. Then I was told that I could go on my own and purchase 3 perennial grasses and they would pay
for them but there would be a service charge if they planted them. From the start I was told that their work was guaranteed.
Yes they did agree to pay for the plants if I went out and purchased them. I feel that they did not live up to the agreement.
I was going to have them do the back of the house, but after that experience I would not use their services again.
Doug was late for our first meeting, but did call to inform us. His initial proposal was the best. We got estimates from three other landscapers but preferred Clean Cut. We asked Doug to alter his first estimate to meet our budget and changing criteria. He came out to the house twice to determine how he could do this. Our 3 other landscapers did not do this. The work did not start as quickly as we would have liked, but weather was an issue. Doug stated the work would take two days and it took 4 days. Part of the reason was because the ordered materials hadn't arrived when promised.
Having said this, the work itself was fantastic. He took a yard that was in miserable condition and made it beautiful. He worked with our ideas and our budget. He promised us we would be happy with their work, and we were. The timing and communication could have been somewhat better, but the overall end product was worth the wait. I would recommend using Clean Cut again with the knowledge that time might be an issue, but the end product is definately worth the wait.Licensing
