From the time Jeff came to give us the estimate until John finished the job they were awesome! The work was exquisite, we could tell John really cares about his job and wants to make sure it's done right. We highly recommend BrentMore, I know whenever we need a contractor they will be the FIRST one we call.

+ -1 moreI liked it that they were willing to work on an old house and keep it's original style. (Ie they worked with the gutter and downspouts that were there and didn't push a new system that wouldn't look right with the style of the house.) The initial estimating process was very thorough. The estimator got a ladder and climbed up on the roof. . Didn't just take photos with a long angle lens camera. They did need to postpone the start date a couple of times due to high volume of other work they had but gave us that information in plenty of time. They finished the work within their estimated time frame. The crew doing the work was professional and considerate. Cleanup was thorough and the work was exceptional.
Description of Work: Repaired slate roof on the house and garage. Repaired overhangs that were rotted and replaced shingles on the house and garage. Re hung brackets on the house to fix drainage issues from the 1/4" rounds. Put in new downspouts. Replaced asphalt roof on the front porch with a metal roof.

+ -1 moreThe balcony floor was starting to show bare wood underneath the previous painted canvas type flooring. The floor needed roofing material since it functions as a roof to the floor below it. Brentmore applied a sustainable roofing material--- even let me choose a lime green color. They were easy to work with and true to their schedule and estimate. I don't know what the name of the product was, but it's not a rubber roof. Much more attractive, and paintable. The following year, I had a pattern painted on the floor by Two Dudes, and it looks fantastic. Actually, Brentmore and Two Dudes worked together at sorting out the project.

Description of Work: Brentmore replaced cedar siding on two sides of our house that was damaged in a hail storm in 4/2010. They had replaced the cedar on the other two sides back in September of 2010. They also replaced a front door for us and put up spouting on the front of the house.

The call was returned promptly, and the estimator came at the scheduled time, explained in detail what he would do, and brought along a nice selection of shingles for us to look at. He helped us decide on a color. The estimate was delivered in a reasonable time and the price was reasonable. The quality of work was excellent, cleanup was thorough, and there were no problems whatsoever. It was a completely satisfactory experience with this contractor. f
Description of Work: This contractor installed a new roof on a portion of our house, including new shingles, new ridge vent, and a new standing seam valley for appropriate drainage.

+ 2 moreVery pleased with all work they've done for us. Prices are always in line with other estimates but we return to them for the excellent workmanship and quality performance.
Description of Work: We've used Brentmore for a variety of home repair and maintenance services. We have our roofing contract with them; twice a year they inspect our slate roof, clean out gutters, and last time replaced some slates and did another repair. The pricing is more than fair ($200 in addition to the $200 we spend annually for the contract. Brentmore installed a wrought iron style (aluminum) fence on our front patio/entry last Fall. The work was completed in a timely manner and the price was less than a big box retailer quoted to me. The service is always personal and courteous with the needs of the customer foremost. We have found Brentmore to be an excellent company to work with for many of our home projects; none is too small and there is no minimum charge. It's a smaller, locally owned company that cares about getting the customer back for additional work - quality and service are their hallmark.

+ 0 moreI had a lot of inside and outside work to do due to the storm damage and, while they were roofers, they said they could handle everything but that they would subcontract all the work and add 20 percent on all subcontractor work. I was not thrilled about that, but they were professional. I did not use them and will not use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I had Brentmore Construction bid on doing a roof inspection and other work due to storm damage.

They are totally professional, respectful, and the pricing is honest and fair. This company works hard to win your confidence and earns it with a job well done. If quality and reliability matter, then call Brentmore. Their pricing is always competitive, and always a good value.
Description of Work: Replaced gutters around our whole house which had been ripped down with ice storms. Gutter guards, downspouts, etc.
