The installers were very easy to deal with and took direction in stride. It did take two days for the install since they came up from Philadelphia. The first day they got started late and actually needed a couple of more guys that could not be on site until the next day to handle the over 400 pound one piece center island top.
All went well and we really like the product and the final result. The only negative we have is that they could have been neater by putting down drop clothes; especially since they needed to demo the drywall when removing the existing tiles. Although they cleaned up after themselves we spent another few hours getting things back to how it was before the work was done.
We did price out the same job and granite with another company and we saved more than $2000 with Bravo. We have recommended them to a few other people based on our results.
Seams - Mike explained that my countertops needed 2 seams because my counters were so long (over 15 feet long). He also stated that you WILL see the seams. One seam was going to be in front of the sink (4'' seam) as opposed to having one long seam next to the sink. Made sense to me at the time, but after seeing it, I would have done differently. Also, the seams are not the thinist out there. Mine are a little thicker.
Backsplash - The backsplash had some small imperfections (nicks/chips) which I noticed after the installers were gone.
Installation - pay attention during installation and address any issues with the installers then. They come down from Philly.
Price - If you can't afford to pay huge prices for granite, but really want it - then call Mike. For the amount of counter tops versus the price, I got a good deal. Any granite place in my area would have charged double (I have been told).
Good things: Pretty Steel Gray granite, Half Round Edge is really nice, Installers were friendly, good time turn around, GREAT PRICE!
Not so good things: Seam in front of my sink - don't do that if you think it will bother you.
