No work was performed. No estimate was given. First contact was made by me via email through Mr. Draper's website. Mr. Draper called back and left voicemail for me. Mr. Draper came over next day and we looked at the Jobs. Mr. Draper needed to get onto nighborsproperty to look at an area under my fence that needs to be repaired. I called neighbor and got permission for Mr. Draper to enter neighbor's backyard to look at the area he said he neeeded to look at. It's now just short of 6 weeks and I haven't heard another thing from Mr. Draper. I don't know what is going on and Mr. Draper has not returned my voicemails that I left for him. Very disappointing experience. I thought better of him from our first and only meeting. Mr. Draper has not given me the common courtesy of a return call to tell me yes or no about whether he wanted the jobs or not. I guess by Mr. Draper's actions that common courtesy isn't anything he practices.

"My company has no Invoices relating to installing any INSULATION for this member. Could we be mistaken for some other Company? Flaking paint was removed from block walls and primed and painted. - (Install) Furniture Hardware - Sink(s) sprayer(s) repair - Mold removal - Cut Padlock off of garage door. No insulation was installed. Customer was billed and payment was received for the above work. Price (Invoice stated) was different than ours. No dissatisfaction was implied. Kind regards."

High winds were predicted.  A shutter had come loose from its mooring on a second floor window, and was flapping in the breeze.  I had not been his customer previously, but called Barry and he arrived at my house within 3 hours and reattached the shutter, as well as adjusting some errant soffit before the high winds hit.  I was very pleased with his work.  Barry was most professional and efficient.  i will definitely call him for future jobs.

four years ago my wife and i contracted with barry to replace the screens on out back porch. he used a new kind of screen and it is still in perfect condition. three years ago barry painted extensively inside outr home and that work is also in excellent shape. our most recent contact with him consisted of indoor (bay window and assorted doors)and outdoor (porch super structure) painting, as well as some cement work on back step and installation of two floor protectors. as usual,, due to his love of and pride in his work, everything has been a five-star performance. hire this man for any painting and handywork. barry is excellent.

He did a beautiful job. under the GI Bill he took classes in in both carpentry and plumbing and, since 1983 he has hone his expertise in those and many other areas. He and quot;apprenticedand quot; under his father.
We enjoyed having Barry in our home and are delighted with him and his final product.. We have some other projects scheduled for the next few months and we will ask Barry to do all of them!
Oh, did I mention that, on his first visit to our house, he discovered a rather thick, a 6' long black snake taking a sunbath in front of my front step? I am TERRIFIED of snakes and didn't even try to hide my horror and fear. While I cowed in the far back corner of the garage, he calmly and creatively found a way to catch the snake, get it into a tip bag, jammed a trash can lid on it and secured the lid with duct tape so it couldn't escape. I bravely stood on the lid while he did the taping. He loaded it in his truck and released it somewhere where it would be safe and wouldn't scare anyone else. He even brought back a special camera which he used to look under my front step to assure me that there were no other snakes lurking there! And he charged not a penny for being my Knight in Shining Armor!!

I highly recommend him. I like him because he understood that I was the landlord and I wasn't looking for a retail. I just fix. He understood the situation and came up with a patch kind of work around rather than fixing the entire bathroom.

I called Barry because I needed a bedroom overhead light replaced. The old ceiling fan had been taken out but the wiring was more complicated than we expected. We also needed an estimate for outdoor painting to be done immediately. Barry thought he could come out that week but did not make it. He called me over the weekend and told me to choose a date/time and he would be there because he did not do what he said he would. We set a date and it happened to be the day of a snow. Barry came anyway-on time. After assessing the wiring he stated he did not feel comfortable replacing the light but would give me the name of an electrician. The next morning I had the name of that electrician (who came out the next day and repaired the light).
Barry did get the painting estimate to me, but it took a few days. His estimate was reasonable compared to my other estimates but I needed the work done immediately so decided not to use Barry. Barry was honest, trustworthy, fair, and I believe holds to the highest integrity standards. I have recommended him to a friend and would certainly use him again if time was not an urgent factor for us.

Mr Draper was polite and punctual and did a very good job at a reasonable price. These were things I needed done to get my house ready for selling. Very pleased as whenever I try to fix anything it always ends up 10x worse.

He was punctual and professional. He told us the cost, and informed us where it might run over, and how that could effect his estimate. He asked questions, and told us how he would approach the jobs. His work was very good, and he cleaned up after himself. I would use him again any time.

Did not go well at all. I called another handyman on Angie's list and he came promptly to do the estimate. The price is reasonable and he found that the boards under the rubber topcoat are rotten. No one else even picked up the rubber roofing material to check!!

"I am sorry this potential customer did not understand my approach to her project(s). The request was to lay carpeting over rubber roofing material (which was not installed properly initially)on a balcony porch floor, and a threshold at door entry.Customer was supplying carpet only,and my quote included materials that i would have to supply.After i received a E mail that price was not in her budget i took the time to locate 2 other contractors to see if they would look at her project.I'm sorry she received no response from them.As far as any rotted boards under rubber roofing material...it is not our practice to remove (disturb) roofing material on initial inspection as this opens up some liability issues. We did not do any work for this customer,just simply supplied a estimate,and some opinions. However,i'm glad she found someone to complete the project and all is well. B.L.Draper"

Barry was punctual, professional, reliable and fairly priced.He did a fabulous job with the painting, and I will definitely call him again when we are ready to do some more painting. He repaired a shelf that had collapsed inward through the drivet b/c it was not originally anchored on a stud, and was able make use of the orginal shelving , saving us money. The plumbing related things are not his forte, but he was able to provide immediate relief for some annoying problems at a low cost.
