Barry is a true professional. He is prompt, pleasant, above board, neat, and responsive.

High winds were predicted.  A shutter had come loose from its mooring on a second floor window, and was flapping in the breeze.  I had not been his customer previously, but called Barry and he arrived at my house within 3 hours and reattached the shutter, as well as adjusting some errant soffit before the high winds hit.  I was very pleased with his work.  Barry was most professional and efficient.  i will definitely call him for future jobs.

Barry was excellent. He came right out and gave me a quote and then fit me into his schedule the same day. He did everything he said he would and he did it very well. I recommend him highly.

four years ago my wife and i contracted with barry to replace the screens on out back porch. he used a new kind of screen and it is still in perfect condition. three years ago barry painted extensively inside outr home and that work is also in excellent shape. our most recent contact with him consisted of indoor (bay window and assorted doors)and outdoor (porch super structure) painting, as well as some cement work on back step and installation of two floor protectors. as usual,, due to his love of and pride in his work, everything has been a five-star performance. hire this man for any painting and handywork. barry is excellent.

He did a beautiful job. under the GI Bill he took classes in in both carpentry and plumbing and, since 1983 he has hone his expertise in those and many other areas. He and quot;apprenticedand quot; under his father.
We enjoyed having Barry in our home and are delighted with him and his final product.. We have some other projects scheduled for the next few months and we will ask Barry to do all of them!
Oh, did I mention that, on his first visit to our house, he discovered a rather thick, a 6' long black snake taking a sunbath in front of my front step? I am TERRIFIED of snakes and didn't even try to hide my horror and fear. While I cowed in the far back corner of the garage, he calmly and creatively found a way to catch the snake, get it into a tip bag, jammed a trash can lid on it and secured the lid with duct tape so it couldn't escape. I bravely stood on the lid while he did the taping. He loaded it in his truck and released it somewhere where it would be safe and wouldn't scare anyone else. He even brought back a special camera which he used to look under my front step to assure me that there were no other snakes lurking there! And he charged not a penny for being my Knight in Shining Armor!!

I highly recommend him. I like him because he understood that I was the landlord and I wasn't looking for a retail. I just fix. He understood the situation and came up with a patch kind of work around rather than fixing the entire bathroom.

Mr Draper was polite and punctual and did a very good job at a reasonable price. These were things I needed done to get my house ready for selling. Very pleased as whenever I try to fix anything it always ends up 10x worse.

He was punctual and professional. He told us the cost, and informed us where it might run over, and how that could effect his estimate. He asked questions, and told us how he would approach the jobs. His work was very good, and he cleaned up after himself. I would use him again any time.

Barry was quick to repond and to set up work dates. His work was very good, and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely use him again in the future.

Barry was punctual, professional, reliable and fairly priced.He did a fabulous job with the painting, and I will definitely call him again when we are ready to do some more painting. He repaired a shelf that had collapsed inward through the drivet b/c it was not originally anchored on a stud, and was able make use of the orginal shelving , saving us money. The plumbing related things are not his forte, but he was able to provide immediate relief for some annoying problems at a low cost.

The overall quality was very good, pricing was fair, very responsive and professional.

My experience was excellent. I give Mr. Draper an A+. I had a very busy schedule and Mr. Draper was willing and helpful to work with my schedule. He was very pleasant and I enjoyed talking with him.

When we met for a walk-through to discuss the work to be done, I immediately felt comfortable working with Barry Draper. He took the time to understand my objectives, and offered suggestions on what work I might do myself and recommended other vendors for services outside his area of expertise.

Barry prepared detailed estimates and timelines. As inevitably there are changes as the work progresses, Barry clearly communicated all added costs for materials and additional work along with changes in time schedules. Everything was documented. The work was completed within the price and time schedules supplied and I was extremely happy with the quality of his work. Barry is a true craftsman.

But most of all I appreciated his communication skills. Here are 2 examples:

Barry discovered a roof problem during the rainstorms of the late summer. He called to tell me he had found evidence of a problem and asked if he should take a look. When I told him to check it out, he e-mailed photos of the roof problems along with an estimate for the repair work.

As he was taking up the carpet in one room he discovered that the padding had left behind some sticky residue. He experimented with how to safely remove this substance from the hardwood floor and then sent an estimate for the work.

Along the way he shared suggestions on how to prepare the house for sale. I was so grateful that he would share his experience.

I would not hesitate in recommending Barry Draper for your home repair or improvement project.

I had quite a bit of work to get done. He was great. He was very professional and always on time. He called ahead of time and sent estimates. He was very thorough and did good work.

Barry was immediately responsive to my call and the work was completed the day after I signed our contract.

This was the best home repair experience we have had. The only one that comes close was our first experience with Mr. Draper.

In addition to the work that we contracted for we asked if Barry could fix a broken drawer, and a broken cabinet. He did so at no additional charge!

In addition:
He fixed our screen door which was not closing properly.
Painted a metal railing which had gone beyond and quot;shabby chic.and quot;
Brought us the proper bulb for the hall light which he had installed.
Found and replaced a possibly dangerous wall outlet.
Possibly one or two other things.

None of these extras were included in our final bill.

We couldn't be happier with our experience.
