Fredrick J.
Feb 2019
Roof was repaired in 2014 and the work was warranted for 10 years. Less than five years after the work was performed, the roof started leaking. When I contacted Alleghany Construction, they initially did not return my email, Finally, when Jeff Shreffler contacted me, he informed me (via an eleven word email) that he would not honor the warranty. Subsequent attempts to reach Mr. Shreffler were not successful as he failed to return both calls an emails. Because the life of the roof that Alleghany Construction installed was half of what was promised, my effective cost for the roof has doubled -- and less than five years after installation I am looking at a major expense that I had not anticipated. Now I have to go court to get Mr. Shreffler to honor his warranty. Needless to say, I am less than satisfied.
