Wendell is by far the most detail oriented installer i have ever seen.  He is a true artisan that does not take any shortcuts.
His work may take a little bit longer due to his thorough and detailed prep work, but the end results are well worth it.
I would highly recommend Wendell on any job.  You will not be dissatisfied.

He knows his craft very well and does it as if he were doing it for himself, no corner cutting just honest, exceptionally good work with museum quality. Wendell is an artistic and not just somebody that lays down floors. His workmanship is just unbelievable. He is a craftsman or an artist and that is how he works with wood. He is extremely clean; there was no dirt what so ever. I would recommend him.

After receiving several estimates, Wendell's price and knowledge by far the best. From start to finish this was the best experience we have had with a contractor. He made several trips to bring samples ( In particular one whole box of wood which he laid out for us to keep for the weekend to make sure we would be happy with our product choice.) That was only the beginning of his excellent service. From the morning he started, we did not have to lift a finger to prepare anything. Wendell and his team moved every piece of furniture and did everything possible to make sure my children's rooms were accessible. The craftsmanship and installation was flawless. All of the moldings were removed and doors cut perfectly. We assumed we would have to touch up the paint afterwards but there was not one scratch or chip in the paint. Unbelievably careful and precise. After the installation, they felted the bottom of every item that would touch the floor before returning it to it's rightful place. And if that wasn't enough, before leaving he gave us a mop, wood cleaner and a bag of felt pads. My husband and I cannot express how impressed we are with Wendell and his team. The utmost professional and meticulous installer we gave ever encountered. If you choose to contact him, feel free to ask him to show our house . We would gladly refer him to anyone.
