I contacted Roy and The House Doctor to install wallpaper at my home. They gave us an estimate of $3400 for itemized areas in the home and evaluated whether some leftover wallpaper from a previous project could be used in two of those areas. They confirmed there was enough wallpaper. We paid a $1700 deposit for all the proposed areas (despite not having selected wallpaper for some of them with an undetermined timeline) and they came to install the paper when I was out of town. My assistant met them at the home and could not find the wallpaper when they arrived. While she was calling me - Roy's team left as they said they had another job and would come back tomorrow. She found the wallpaper 10 minutes later and the next day they installed one area which was $350 on the estimate. They told us that the leftover wallpaper for another area was not enough and we would need to order more - which we did. In the meantime, we had another project arise in the living room. Which they quoted at $1000 and we paid a $500 deposit for while we waited for the additional wallpaper to arrive. They came to install the wallpaper in the living room and when finished asked for another $500. This was paid. That evening when I looked at the wallpaper it was clear one of the panels was poorly installed, was crooked and had bubbles that were clearly forced out leaving a wobbly uneven texture. I immediately contacted the contractor to have this fixed. When they came back to fix it, they said it would cost another $250 to fix. After finding this out, it was clear this is not a contractor I want working in my home. Despite having been paid $2700 for $1350 of work, Roy has been contacting me refusing to refund the remaining balance and also asking for an additional $550. Please beware. Quality is poor, they will not stand behind their work and refuse to refund money they clearly have not earned.

Roy's team had painted the interior of our house 7 years prior. It was time for a facelift. His team consisted of the same guys - great employee retention! They are prompt, friendly and very talented. We have very tall ceilings due to an open floor plan, they handled it all very well. They are not the low cost provider but are worth the price.

The crew showed up as scheduled and returned daily until the work was completed. It took about 3 days due to multiple coats of spackle needed on the patches. Drop cloths were used and the site was cleaned up at the end of each day. The patch & paint job is impeccable - a dark color going on the walls against the white ceiling & wood work.

The worst. Work was not proformed correctly and wallpaper started to fall off. They said they would come are replace the wallpaper but stoped turning our calls. Never use this company.
