Quaker Sam Air Duct Cleaning

Last year, 2012, I had Quaker Sam Air Duct Cleaning Services at my house to clean out our dryer vent. They were ontime and did a clean job. As part of the cleaning process, the technician broke the grid covering the vent externally facing vent. He handed me the piece stating he broke it. He did not offer to fix it.  I didn't think anything of it, as it appeared more cosmetic than anything. Exactly 1 year later, I found that it was more then cosmetic. There are birds that have made their way into the vent resulting in drying issue with my less than 1 year old dryer. Additionally, there is a terrible stench that has entered into the dryer. I have called Quaker Sam several time to come out and remediate. The first call I made went well and the scheduler scheduled a technician to come to our house within a few days of my call. Due to bad weather they had to cance the appointment. I completely understood.  They called me to let me know they are cancelling the appointment and will call back to reschedule. I never received the call. I called back several times and they returned my call once asking me to be home a few minutes. I explained to her that I work and need some advance notice. She said okay and would call me back. I never received a call back. I have been calling ever since, have left several messages and also left a message with their answering service. I do not recommend this place. This service agency services many homes in my development and I will be sharing my experience, everything from them breaking the protective covering to not fixing to not returning calls. I do not want anyone to experience the trouble I have these past 2 weeks. If they call back, I will update this post.
