It is a small shop, so it wasn't always easy getting a quick phone response, and he had to reschedule our appointments a couple times, but the work was beautifully done. He did not fix the door to our satisfaction, and once we pointed it out he was upset that he missed it and fixed it perfectly. I would definitely recommend his work, just know he may not be highly responsive.

Valley Boat Works provided excellent service from start to finish. After contacting Valley Boat Works by phone, I emailed them photos from which they were able to provide an estimate price range for the repair. When I delivered the boat to their Walnutport location, the manager took the time inspect the entire boat, not just the area needing repair. The repair was completed in one week, a little faster than their estimate. The sole was cut open, the rotted stringer replaced with a new stringer that was completely encased in glass (better than the original construction), and the sole resealed. Valley Boat Works provided photos of the different phases of the repair and showed me the remains of the removed stringer. They had also gone over the entire boat and tightened loose fittings and checked for other places of rot (none found). In my conversations, I found the personnel highly knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend this company.
