AMERIGAS

I have automatic delivery, but they have let the tank go to zero on multiple occasions. When the tank reads empty, there is a potential for a gas leak to be present. They treat the potential gas leak as a non-emergency in that they have taken up to 8 hours to come out. I have to call the fire department to insure the safety of my home. I have repeatedly been charged for tank rental in error. If I buy a specifief minimum amount of gas, I should not be charged. They routinely charge and then I have to call and complain. They blame "the computer". I sent an email asking them about an anode test to determine if the tank THEY OWN but located on my property is still safe. They performed the test and billed me for it. When I complained that I did not agree to be charged for a test on THEIR equipment, they admitted the charge was in error. I had to ask repeatedly for the written results of tne test. Their method seems to be charge tne overcharge the customer and hope the customer doesn't catch them cheating. I 'm stuck dealing with them because they own the tank.

I had been calling for several months to have my Propane tank refilled to no avail. The person I talked to each time just said that she would send the information on. They never told me of any scheduled time when the task would be completed. They are charging me rent for the tank and fail to come and fill it. The propane is for a propane fireplace, which is my sole source of heat if the power goes out, which has happened several times this Winter. I switched propane dealers and told Amerigas to come pick up their tank. It has now been sitting in my driveway, still waiting to be removed. They have not communicated with me at all concerning their intensions.

REPAIRED THE LEAK IN MY TANK. THEY CAME IN AND DID THE JOB WELL. THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN SERVICE MY GAS.
