My floors look beautiful! I had carpet removed from 1 room and hardwood floors refinished in 4 rooms. The staff was professional, helpful, friendly and completed work in the given time frame. They showed me options for stain on the floors and gave advice for taking care of the floors. I would definitely recommend them.

I immediately had confidence in their ability to obtain my desired outcome. It was very helpful how they sanded 4 different large areas for me to see my options before we started. In addition, I loved their dust free system- I really did have MUCH less dust than expected. They took their time on getting the floor level and on sanding all the old finish off meticulously. They were courteous and respectful to have in my home. Mike gave very good advice on how to care for the floor.

I recently hired this firm to refinish hardwood floors in my home. They did a wonderful job and the finished product is beautiful. They kept me informed on all steps during the process. They were very professional and timely with services. Everything was well cleaned from the work and there was no dust in house from the sanding. Workers were very friendly and did some repairs of damaged stairs where they could. Price was very reasonable for the work completed. Highly recommended.

There were a few problems during the work but the company resolved the issues to my satisfaction. The floors look amazing. I would definitely use Wood Floor Designs, Inc in the future.

Ask for the trailer with the vacuum on it. Portable vacuum does not work like it is advertised to do.

Excellent workmanship

I love my floors! These guys did a great job and made my vision come to life! I moved into a house and discovered hardwood under the carpets so of course I wanted to bring them back to life. I chose a darker stain than the typical "honey" color. Originally they did "cocoa brown" but it didn't dry right (dark and light spots), so they resanded and "water popped" it and used the color jacobean because cocoa would have been darker than I wanted. They showed me the stain before fully applying. I appreciate that they wanted to redo them so that they were done correctly. I rated the price less than 5 stars only because I felt that for 265 Sq ft what I paid was pricey compared to what my friends have paid, but maybe it costs more these days. I guess it could have been because they use dustless equipment too (which was great!) If I decide to refinish the floors in the 2 bedrooms, I will definitely call these guys back!

Not only is the end result a beautiful refinished 40+ year old floor, but the quality of service from start to finish is exception. Mike, Wood Floor Designs, Inc., kept us apprised of the steps, process and timing. He arrived on each of three days at the time he told us, did a thorough, wonderful job. We were unsure of the stain shade and the sheen of the polyurethane finish. Mike showed us four stain shades on our oak floor so that we were able to select the perfect shade we were going for. As for the sheen, he used a shinier finish first to see if we were happier with it than the satin we initially wanted. By so doing, we were able to approve the shinier finish and the end result was exactly what we wanted. At our initial meeting with Rudy he shared that their sanding equipment creates very little dust; this was very important to us and I'm happy to say there was nearly no dust at the end of the project. We are truly satisfied, would hire the company again and have already provided their name to a colleague of my husband.

The whole experience was quality. Rudy answered my request for a quote immediately and showed up when he said he would,. Everyone, including the workmen, was professional, polite and courteous,. They scheduled the job within a short period of time and finished it within the time frame originally quoted. The floors look great. I'm very happy with the whole experience.
