I have a fairly new Brothers machine about 3 years old and wanted to get it cleaned and checked. I went to my trusted Angie's list and came up with Steve's Sewing which is about 1 hr. from my home. We dropped it off on and it was supposed to take one week but they got it done in a few days, so I was thrilled. My husband offered to pick it up on his way home from work. It was out of his way but he was happy to do it for me. Hailey from Steve's called me to say it was done. When my husband arrived he was told by a very grumpy lady in her 50's that she couldn't find it and did not offer to even go out of her way to look further. My husband then suggested to look it up under our phone no. She again said she couldn't find it. Luckily a very nice gentleman said Oh I see it over here. She then proceeded to check out my husband in her same unfriendly manner and never even thanked him. This was our first visit and I was very dismayed to say the least. I had planned on taking classes there also. I fully expect the owner to contact me with an apology.

My wife and I purchased a Miele upright vacuum here.  We had reviewed options and read reviews of Miele's on Amazon, but we wanted to check them out locally first and consider purchasing from a brick and mortar store.  I was very pleased with the experience.  We were promptly attended to upon arrival.  The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable.  He showed us a number of options, discussed our needs, and let us try out floor models.  He did not attempt to up sell us nor did he apply any pressure.  And after we purchased the vacuum, the store assembled it for us, tested it at the shop, and brought it out to our car along with all of the accessories.  They also kindly disposed of the box for us.  Overall, I couldn't have asked for more.  We tend to purchase a lot of items online these days, but in this case, there was true value added going here, and not only that, we actually saved some money at the end of the day.

They did a great job. When I brought my machine in and he took it back and got it working within a half hour. They also do free estimates and their is a lot of specialist available that are knowledgeable. They are very respectful. I recommend them to everyone.

I called for directions and had a nice conversation with someone, and then today I drove there. A nice roomy store with lots of sewing going on, as well as a repair area for vacuums, etc. They fixed it in five minutes, as I reported, for FREE. If I ever need help again, that's where i'm going.

It's held up through the years. The people there are very nice. I bought my machine at a quilt show and I went there for lessons. I bought service with my machine and I never had it cleaned. I ran into Steve later and he said to come on in and he'd take care of it.

I have an old Singer vacuum.  I did not know they were out of business.  I did a search and found Steve's Sewing Vacuum & Quilting, 268 W. DeKalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA 19406, (610) 768-9453.  This old vacuum is my favorite.  It has a lot of power, and I was upset at the prospect of not finding the bags that would fit it.  The staff was wonderful.  Stan made a phone call and found out which bags would fit.  They were a perfect fit.  I bought all the bags.  He told me I could call them to have bags sent to me.

They were able to fix the vacuum as a local provider was unable to. They were extremely friendly and efficient. Since the repair my vacuum is working very well. I have no complaints with their service as I had a great experience.

Other than Hoover slow to respond to Steve's for status update, I cannot complain about the unit being replaced fully without charge.

They do sewing machine repairs and vacuum repairs. They supplied a fantastic service. Dyson recommended this place because they do a lot of repairs for them. They took everything apart and cleaned it and it was like brand new again. They were professional and very informative. They gave me a period of time that it was going to be repaired and it was actually done before that. I would definitely use their services again.

He does good work.  It’s an outstanding business and Steve is a hard-working guy.  They also sell vacuum cleaners and sewing machines and have a great selection of fabric. They have charity days where we all go in and, for example, sew pillow cases for kids with cancer.   The whole staff is helpful and helps you figure out how to finish your projects.

They fixed it quickly and they also had the parts I needed to fix my vacuum. The customer service is really great and I thought they did a wonderful job. The sewing machine works much better now.

It is a retail operation that is a Mecca for quilters and they have an extensive collection of quilting fabrics. If someone was into quilting that is the first place I would go not only because they have an amazing range of quilting fabrics, they have very knowledgeable people who work there. In addition they have quilting classes and I had looked into taking some of their sewing classes. It is not for a professional certification and is for crafters, but to see some of the work that comes out of there is a goldmine. I also used them for a carpet cleaning appliance that was broken and they could not fix. They could have ripped me off, but they did not and that about them stands out. I have a vacuum cleaner that is a couple of years old and once a year I have it serviced and early this year I took it in for felts and other things. They serviced it and it was fine, but a couple of weeks later something went wrong with it. I took it back and they said that they missed something, addressed it and there was no charge, and that to me stands out. They are currently moving their operation to a larger facility. Normally, they have anything and everything for a wide range of sewing machines that now may become the bulk of their business. One of their people must have spent 45 minutes pawing through what they had to try to find me a belt because I was in the middle of a project. The woman took my telephone number and said that she will call me if one her people are able to track one down for me. That was amazing. I spent about $60 for the vacuum cleaner repaired and $100 for the sewing machine to be cleaned, oiled and repaired. They help me make intelligent decision about what I don’t need and that is very important.

THE EMPLOYEES AT THE STORE ARE EXTREMELY POLITE AND ENTHUSIASTIC. THE VACUUM LOOKED VERY CLEAN AND NEAT. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK.
