Had all the carpets in the house cleaned and as soon as the carpets dried all the stains came back. I've had better results renting the machine from Lowes. The two guys were very nice but they did up sell everything. I will not use Stanley steamer again.

I actually had to clean them again afterwards. Very expensive and seemed to rush getting it all done.

I paid more than I was expecting to. I thought they were very friendly. They did a good job. They were very matter of fact. They were in and out. It was a very short period of time. I expected them to be here for an hour or 2 and I think they were only here for only 30 minutes or so. I was appreciative that it was so quick and that they did a good job. The carpet looked 100% better.

I previously used Stanley Steemer in New Jersey but I have moved to Southampton so I wanted to get the carpets cleaned before I moved into my new house. The team from Stanley Steemer arrived within the scheduled window and did a great job cleaning the carpets. We had gotten paint onto one of the carpets so they worked at trying to get most of it out, and really made a great improvement in that room. Because some of the carpets are older they didn't even try to sell me the carpet protector package which I greatly appreciated. I felt the price was fair and will definitely use them again.

Setting up the appointment and changing the appointment were very easy because the call center that they use makes scheduling easy, but the guys that actually came out were not great. They were giving my wife and I and quot;the hard selland quot; on services. They must have a big incentive on upselling you because when they got to our house they were trying to get us to buy more services. We actually did add some, but the experience was less than ideal. I personally hate the hard sell. I think it's obnoxious. Especially in my own home. I also walked downstairs at one point during the visit, and one of the guys was playing with my daughters toys. Some people may think this is trivial, but why send two guys to do a job if the other is going to sit and play with toddler toys during the appointment?
They did an ok job, but for that kind of money I will probably go with a smaller outfit next time in the hope that we get more bang for the buck.

It went well. The only problem i had which was easily resolved was that I got an estimate over the phone but when I checked on Angie's list after scheduling I realized the estimate was higher per square ft than advertised for Angie's customers.. Stanley Steamer said not to worry they would come for the cleaning and have a look and give me more accurate pricing once they saw it. They said I could cancel if I wasn't happy. They arrived, lowered their price and did a wonderful job!

They moved the furniture and did a good job cleaning. They did not leave the floor really wet. I was happy with the service. They always have great specials.

I am very happy with them. I like the way they worked and cleaned. I did not have to tell them how to do it and I was pleased with them. The price was ok because he did something extra and told me what I could do for certain things. I picked them because other people have told me about them.

They have great customer service. I had some issues from the first time they came and cleaned the floors. They redid the floors for no extra charge.

After checking Angies List, I went online to schedule appt for first available time slot (Thur 8/25/11), which, luckily, was only a few days later since far future appointments tend to interfere with other scheduling. The arrival time slots are in two or three hour increments. I chose 9am- 11am or noon so as to leave room for another appt I had later. Soon, a confirmation email arrived with instructions. I received a phone call the day before, then another call the morning of the appt., telling me the crew was on their way. The crew arrived shortly thereafter. The crew was professional, thoughtful and informative in their comportment. They did a pre-clean inspection with me. We discussed my expectations, their expectations, and procedures for each room. Additionally, as they cleaned each room they'd summon me if there was an issue and/or to inspect what was done. Be prepared to be somewhat involved. I've had carpet cleaners that wanted you out of the way. These guys seemed to prefer you to see/know/inspect exactly what they were doing. My original estimate was for approximately $265 to treat/clean/protect 3 wall-to-wall carpets (one room actually double regular room size). After their arrival, and our discussions, we decided to get 3 other (incl 2 expensive Oriental rugs) room rugs cleaned also. We ended up getting all major rugs expertly and expeditiously done at the same time for approximately $565 . . . no sending rugs out, etc.

They did just a few things at home. The work was okay. The staff is fine. They came when they said and did what they were supposed to do. They were responsive. They came when they were supposed to.

They were just a local franchise but they were fine. They were punctual. They do what they say they were going to do. They were reliable. I would use them in the future.

Upon my phone call, the company was able to make an appointment for the next day. The 2 workers that came out were right on time, and pleasant. They did the work for the quoted cost, and did it efficiently. When I came back from work, after the carpet dried, some of the dirt and stains on the carpet and upholstery were still showing. I called the company the next morning, and that afternoon came back out and recleaned everything. The responsiveness was great.

They came out to do the job and they did the job well. They were on time and cleaned up everything. They were efficient as well. We then took the carpets off and had another company come out to finish the floors. We are going to have them come back on Friday for upholstery cleaning.

They are very dependable and thorough in everything they do. They are careful to protect your other furniture. They also do drapes, though I have never had that done. The cost is reasonable and they are very personal and customer friendly. I will continue to use them in the future.

It was a good experience. Scheduled quickly, technicians showed up on time, finished quickly and didn't intrude in the rest of our living space. They got the carpets clean and they dried fairly quickly as well. They explained the process and offered additional services, which I declined.

Chose them based on Angie's list. Had used Chem Dry in the past. The cost was high and they were unable to get spots out. Ended up paying for replacement of the carpet.

It was easy to set up an appointment and they were able to come out quickly. The service took hardly any time at all. They moved all but the biggest pieces of furniture and when they put them back they protected the legs with pieces of foam. All the stains came out, and it's been 6 months and only one small stain has crept back in. They left a bottle of carpet cleaner in case that should happen, so I just need to try to get it out using the tonic they provided. The rooms smelled so fresh for about a week after they left. If I had the money, I'd hire them to clean every room in the house, every year!

I was very satisfied, with the work they did. They also did my Kitchen floor, and it turned out very well. I would recommend them and will use them again.

They were very friendly when they were working. They showed up on time to do the work. They called when they were on their way to my house. They moved the chairs by themselves.

Everything about the scheduling was great. Very professional. However, I was not pleased with the work. The carpets were oversoaked and the water was not fully extracted. It took days for them to clean. When this happens, there is a good chance that mold will start to form in the pad and the carpet itself will begin to rot. I would not use them again for this reason.
