Saw and "test drove" chair in Princeton store where the sales people were very accomodating and encouraged us to buy a chair to try out in our sunroom to check the color before purchasing a whole suite. They also gave us fabric samples to take home to decide on cushions. Dealt with King of Prussia store because they were closer and more convenient to us when it came time for ordering. KoP provided more fabric samples before we finally ordered sending them overnight which was very impressive. Received the furniture pieces very quickly by truck delivery (I think within 10 days) and in good order. The cushions arrived separately and shortly thereafter. There was a problem with one of the lumbar pillows which when we brought it back to the store they immediately ordered a redo which later arrived in fine shape. At the same visit we decided we needed a 5th chair which we bought off the floor, but needed to order a matching seat cushion. Also ordered 2 more pillows. When we received the cushion for the fifth chair the height of the cushion was noticebly shorter than the previous cushions ordered. We brought it in and they promptly ordered a second cushion saying they would note the height issue on the paperwork. The pillows ordered in the second order also came in manufactured differently than the first order so they ordered another set. But their 2nd cushion still came in too short and this time the pillows were missing a seam opposite the zipper. I called the store manager, Bill, and he said he'd look into it and get back to me. But I've called several times and stopped in, but he hasn't gotten back to me. Seems to me that Smith & Hawken has a quality and inconsistency problem. Ironically their tag line is "Uncompromising Quality". I would hesitate in the future buying a large quantity of items that need to coordinate. Overall, though, the quality of the all weather wicker furniture we bought is good. I just wish they'd call back and address their product short comings as they promised.
