I call Martin Electric and explained to them that every time we went to use anything in the basement the power would trip. They came over and looked and around to see what needed to be done. I was then told that "I had to get this fixed right away" and "that it couldn't wait" and they could start the work then. But to do so, I had to give them a deposit of approximately $600 (I think it was actually $1,000). I wrote them a check and they started work. While working they received a call for another emergency. They informed me that they had to stop but would come back the next day. Next day, person was there for about an hour and again received a phone call to go and work on another emergency. When I heard the same story as the prior day, I figured 3rd time had to be a charm. ERRRR - thought wrong. When they said they would come back I knew they wouldn't and they didn't. I tried on several occasions to get my money back and conveniently enough they were never around to take my calls. Unfortunately, I had to stop trying to collect the money due to major surgery but when I saw their name on Angie's I figured I had to submit my report. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS. THEY COME IN AND WILL TELL YOU WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY, WILL TAKE MOST OF YOUR MONEY AND THEN NEVER FINISH THE JOB. BTW, I ended up calling Lowry Electric and having them finish the work. Everything that Martin had started to do had to be redone by Lowry.
Description of Work: Rewire outlets in basement so they would stop tripping the power.
