+ -1 moreAll work was handled in a very timely manner, professionally with very little disruption to the other parts of the house. Once a job was started it was completed quickly with no delays for materials or subcontractors where they were needed.
Description of Work: Over the last 10 years Jack built a large addition with a basement, remodeled two bathrooms to the studs, installed new siding on the house and garage, extended the eaves on the house, reconfigured the front porch and installed a complete new roof. Subcontracted extensive concrete work and had a new patio installed.

Jack has a partner and he and his partner are the primary workers of the company and he will source subcontractors and he will manage for you as the general contractor. We stated this project last Fall and that was the first time I had used him. I got the recommendation from Angie's List and other people in the neighborhood. He's just an outstanding builder, he's knowledgeable in all facets of building and remodeling and he has a very broad grasp of capabilities, he manages his projects well and he has an incredible list of contractors for things like concrete, roofing contractors and that sort of thing. I would tell others if they are planning a building project to put him down first on their list.
Description of Work: I used Jack Grace Carpentry Construction a week ago to prepare to finish a porch project that we started before the frost got into the ground. So it was for a complete remodeling for the front of the house.

+ 0 moreThe construction started 6/26/13 but the weather delayed opening the roof till 7/8/13. Jack was able to work inside during this delay. They showed up everyday at 8 AM and left at 4PM. The entire project took 8 weeks finishing on 9/4/13. They were efficient and caused very little disruption in our every day lives, cleaning up after each day. Jack and his team were able to construct our addition exactly as planed. The subcontractors were all excellent in their abilities, showing up when needed and efficiently completing there tasks. I have to say that Jack Grace is one of the best contractors I have work with; Jack is meticulous and his attention to detail is unmatched. Jack has created a fabulous living space that I and my wife will enjoy for many years. I give Jack Grace my highest recommendation.
Description of Work: Built a 16'x19' bathroom/closet addition over my garage.
