Ben, the owner, came to our home for a total evaluation of how we might improve comfort and save energy. The focus and area of most concern was the basement, where air leakage was causing some first-floor rooms to feel colder than others. Kyle and John spent roughly seven hours using spray foam at accessible rim joists, lining the walls of the crawl space, and adding insulation to two exterior doors. Since it has been only a week, we don't know if we will see monetary saving, but we are pleased that our first level floors no longer have the cold spots. The guys were pleasant, kept us informed throughout the day, and showed us what had been done before they left. Thank you Home Energy & Comfort!

When Ben came to assess my 1940's home I made a commitment on the spot! He was so knowledgeable about everything, from the attic to the crawl space, as was his partner Gordon, and Kyle the lead technician and every one that worked in my home. The plan was made by Ben and thoroughly explained to me before I signed the contract. They were here within less than a week of the initial contract, They were in and out in 2 days, what a team. They were all professional, (more like Professors), respectful of my home and communicated well throughout the job . I have never had any workers in my home that have been this great, ever. This company has helped me protect our precious environment and I am so grateful for that. I can't wait to compare my utility bills with last year I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT RESERVATION!!

I have lived in my house for two years, and have had problems with rooms that wouldn't get cool in the summer (despite central air conditioning), or stay warm in the winter. I had to move my bedroom after the first summer and winter, and could not comfortably sit for long in my living room. I replaced all my windows with triple paned ones in March 2020, which made little difference. I had PECO do an energy assessment of my home last spring. Home Energy & Comfort was on PECO's list of recommended contractors. I researched them further, and their reviews were impressive. I soon found out why. Gordon Clark, one of the co-owners, and a crew of three to four workers spent two days at my home in early June 2020. To make a long story short, they insulated everywhere that needed it (including the garage which is underneath my living room), air sealed gaps and cracks where needed, sealed up ducts, spray foamed rim and band-joist area, and did air seal blowing tests before and after the work. The team was always polite and respectful, and masked due to the Coronavirus. They protected everywhere they worked with plastic sheets and tarps, and cleaned up well afterward. They also did all the work to submit paperwork for rebates from PECO, and deducted the rebate amounts from my bill rather than have me wait for them. This has honestly been the best money I have invested in my home. The hot days have shown me the vast improvement in energy efficiency. I was able to move my bedroom back to the bigger room in the southwest corner, which is now very comfortable. An added bonus is the reduction of dust in my home. I am very happy I chose Home Energy & Comfort to do the work in my home!

Ben, Gordon and their Lead Technician Kyle were extremely professional, prompt and helpful with our project. Ben came out to my home for the consultation and explained the process thoroughly, adding a ton of valuable information that I did not previously know. Kyle came out for the installation and was extremely professional, prompt and courteous. Gordon helped in the process and also gave me very valuable information about my HVAC system and kept me updated with the project. I trusted Home Energy & Comfort 100% and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to increase energy efficiency in their home. They tested my home before and after and the results were fantastic. I can sleep easy now knowing that my house already feels more comfortable, my bills will be going down, and my kids room's are well insulated. A+

Very knowledgeable. Their work made a huge difference in our bedroom and our daughters bedroom. Took the time to fully explain everything. Even let my daughter use his heat sensor imaging machine to show her how ridiculously hot her walls were pre-insulation! I also reccommend the whole house evaluation. I learned so much!

This company was perfect. They educated me on my homes particular structure and explained a much more cost effective solution for my project. They completed the attic insulation on time and significantly under budget. This type of integrity is much appreciated.

Honest and down to earth company. Gave an honest opinion of what should be done. They found that there was some insulation that they weren't sure was there (until further inspection) and told me that we could remove almost half the cost as part of the job wasn't needed and then shared a simple do it yourself solution at no extra charge. I couldn't recommend them more. 10 stars.

This company is really looking out for your best interest. They spotted duct work in my basement that they suspected was asbestos so they halted insulation until the area was tested (and then remediation). Additionally, they found faulty electrical work and damaged duct work in the attic. They stopped their planned blowing of insulation until we had an opportunity to fix the issues. They did not charge extra for having to halt their work and come back at a later time to complete the job. They put safety and quality work first!

WOW...they were great. Walked through, in detail, what they were going to do and what they did do...with pictures!!!! They cleaned up perfectly and I can already tell the added warmth in our kitchen!!! Great job in insulating our attic and other important heat/cool saving installs.

Home Energy & Comfort completed a complete spray foam insulation and air sealing with great success (Oct 2015). Pre and post blower door results had upwards of a 40% decrease in air infiltration (rare). That means they got to every nook, hole and crack in both attics and crawl space. Very professional, easy to talk with, on time (even working in the cold rain in October) and good housekeeping. I would highly recommend them.

After obtaining a PECO Smart House Call Assessment, we decided to undertake some of the Assessment recommendations. We contacted three companies on the PECO list of recommended contractors. From a price standpoint, the three estimates were relatively comparable, but what set Home Energy & Comfort apart from the other two companies was Ben's due diligence and general knowledge. We also liked the fact that they do an air transfer test before and after their work, which the other companies did not offer. Thus, we could see the amount of improvement (in our case, 23%). Gordon, who is co-owner with Ben, and Darren spent two days working on our project. Gordon is friendly, enthusiastic and took time to explain what they were doing. We were impressed with their cleanliness, attention to detail and genuine desire to help us achieve greater energy efficiency. We would strongly recommend them to anyone who is interested in undertaking similar home improvements.

It is was refreshing to find professionals who were so invested in providing quality, timely work. There was a 20+ degree difference between the upstairs and downstairs before we had the R-49 insulation. It felt unbearable to be upstairs. With the R-49 insulation, there is only a 10 degree difference, which allows us to be comfortable in our home. In addition to being impressed with the quality of the work, we were impressed with their cleanliness. Gordon and his associates covered their shoes, covered the floor with a sheet, and vacuumed after themselves. I definitely recommend Home Energy and Comfort, LLC. These professionals are so knowledge, considerate, and committed to providing quality service.

Gordon and Ben we're very easy to work with and I appreciated their enthusiasm for the work they do. We had them insulate our knee-wall attic space which included draft blocking, rigid insulation on the walls, and blown in on the floors.
