They did a great job. I have a gas fire place and every time the big wind blew it would blow out the pilot light. It was hard to get it relight the pipe in the wall. They came out and cleaned out the fire place and pulled out the pipe so that I could relight it if needed. They also must have put some sort of shield on there as well because I have not had to relight it. They were way beyond my expectations on the wonderful job they did.

We stopped in to see what kinds of options were available, and there were several which fit the requirements. Costs were again reasonable, and the install only took a couple of hours (since it was a replacement). FIreplace looks great and it's much better at heating the room than the old vented system which lost most of its heat out the chimney. Elana and the team know what they are doing and they have always executed flawlessly for us. No other choice in my book.

From the outset, Elana was wonderful to work with. We started thinking about a gas insert years ago, and one unforeseen reason after another (none because of Hearth Renovations), caused us to delay our purchase. We never felt pressured, and when we were finally ready to go ahead, Elana was responsive, helpful and professional. We are having some other work done in the room, and Elana has been extremely flexible in working around our needs. The installers arrived on time, were knowledgeable, friendly and courteous and cleaned up any messes they made. Tim explained in detail how to use the unit and showed me the gas and electric connections in the basement in case of emergency before he left. He answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. To my surprise, he told me that the one door was scratched when it was unwrapped and that they will order another to replace it. Usually the customer needs to point those things out and fight to get replacement. In a day when customer service is often lacking, this company excels at informing the customer and making them happy. I wish all purchases were so painless! I highly recommend them.
