Chris Burke Heating & Air Conditioning

Excellent, honest, and very professional. My heating system wouldn’t come on so I called a different HVAC company and scheduled a service call. In the mean time I also called the electric company.  The electric company came out and said the igniter switch just needs to be replaced and any heating company can complete the work.  This different HVAC technician came out and said the whole unit needs to be replaced at a cost of about $5,700. I then had Chris Burke Heating & Air Conditioning come out and they quickly confirmed the only issue was the igniter switch and replaced the switch for only $189.

On 11/25/15, I bought a "Big Deal" on Angie's list for a "$85 for a Seasonal Furnace or Air-Conditioner Tune-up" from "Chris Burke Heating & Air Conditioning".  I provided my prefered times for having the furnace cleaning and my contact information.  I got a response that day stating "this week is very full. give me your phone and we will call next week. I responded on 11/26/15 with my contat information along with a note "I included this previously."  I did not get a resonse the next week. On the Friday of the "next week", 12/4/15, I sent another message stating "Please contact me to set up a time to tune up my furnace.".  I sent this message again on 12/12/15 and 12/21/15.  I did not get any response.  Angie's List has a 30 day refund guarantee.  With the 30 days approaching, I called Angie's List and requested and received a refund.  This is the first time in roughly 10 years of using Angie's LIst that I needed to request a refund.  I still need my furnace cleaned and tuned-up but I will go with another contractor.

It went great and the work he did was wonderful. Very knowledgeable in his craft and I would definitely recommend him.

Although Chris Burke did not work on my heating system (he suggested that I pursue recourse with the manufacturer of my boiler because it was probably still under warranty), he was polite, courteous and provided me with an overwhelming amount of valuable information.  I would definitely recommend him based upon my experience with him and would not hesitate to call upon him for any future problems.

Chris's work, both on a routine basis and installing the new system was excellent.  Everything went well - there was no mess and from start to finish things were fine.  His prices are definitely competitive (mid range of the scale), and my sense is that based on our experience and the comments of others, he is very trustworthy.
