Totally disappointed with the experience.
We spent good money to have a shelving and a Murphy bed installed and it took 4 months to complete. We started our consultation in March, the initial installation was in April, and now in July after 3 follow up visits we're throwing in the towel. Each visit the features promised by the sales consultant were either not installed properly or the installation team did not have the item to install. It was a constant back and forth. We would receive apologies and have to book another install date. Even then, each time the technician would arrive at our house, they would ask us and quot;so, what are we doingand quot;? They would have no paperwork or frame of reference for our project. When we would explain, they would elaborate how they don't have the proper materials with them so they can't fulfill our project. Once, they just grabbed random white wood to rig a quick fix, it looks horrendous. They also cheaply rigged up a fix for a wrapping paper pole they installed incorrectly twice before, now you need to bend the screws to take the pole in and out to change wrapping paper. So after the 3rd re-try at getting the set-up we were promised and paid in advance for, we're cutting our losses. The owner, Mike, insultingly offered us 10% off our next closet. A laughable offer that shows how little they care about customer satisfaction. #1 we are never using California closets again and #2 I could find a better discount in the clipper magazine. We would never recommend this company! They are too unorganized to provide an outstanding or even mediocre service.

I had the pleasure to work with designer, Cheryl Harvey and installer, Matt. Cheryl took my design for a new medicine cabinet for my master bath and made it a reality. She came to my home to take precise measurements and helped me finalize the design. She even provided me with a 3D picture of what my new cabinet would look like. The pricing was very fair and they even made it easy for me to use some antique pulls I had already purchased. Cheryl kept me informed throughout the process and called to followup after the install just to make sure I was happy. Matt was an amazing carpenter and the best installer ever. He was such a perfectionist and made me feel that he cared as much about my home as I did. Customer service like this is rare today. I feel blessed that I was lucky enough to find these two individuals who truly care about their customers. My new cabinet is beautiful, functional and exactly what I wanted and needed. I waited 10 years to finally remove the old broke one and I am so pleased to have this new one forever. Thank you Cheryl and Matt for making a dream come true.
