Avalon Flooring

Went to this store a couple of weeks ago around 3 in the afternoon. Upon entering the store I made eye contact with 4 employees who were behind the front desk talking with one another. I was carrying a 12 x 12 inch tile. No employees greeted us when we entered the store. During the 30+ minutes I was inside the store no one ever approached us to ask if we needed assistance. One employee came over and put up tiles next to me 4 times and was within 2 feet of me each time and never asked if I needed help. Another employee walked by within 5 feet away and again never asked if I needed help. Another employee who was helping some other customers within a few feet of where we had been looking at tile for over 20 minutes made eye contact with me a couple of times. When his customers left he put away his materials and never asked if we needed anything. We left after 30 minutes and I called and left a message with Dominique the store manager. She called back a day or so later and left a voice mail. I called her back later and she was unavailable so I left a lengthy voice mail outlining my experience. She has never called back. Today I purchased my tile elsewhere.

I would be so cautious about using Avalon's flooring for any products or services. We recently put a deposit down to have wood floors put in our basement. We had an agreement with a store manager and an associate to reduce the price upon return of some over purchasing of products from a previous job. Now that the site has our money, they will not honor the agreement and will now not give us a refund. They have a deposit and no floors have been delivered or put in place. Now we are having to dispute charges with our credit card company bc the store refuses to even talk to us.

I went to the King of Prussia Avalon Flooring with my husband on Jan 20 to look for hardwood floors when their 3 week sales (Jan 20 - Feb 12, 2018) just started. We were greeted by a sales person who answered my questions and offered to give me an estimate if I could email him the measurement. Coming back home, I measured the room and emailed him a pretty accurate floor plan on Jan 27. Today is Feb 7, I still have not heard back anything from this sales person. I called the store twice, once left a message for him, once talked to him directly. The time I talked to him directly, he promised to either call me or email me the estimate very soon. The sale is ending in 5 days and I still have not had an estimate. Isn't this supposed to be a reputable company? What a bad shopping experience I am having here!

Although the orginal salesman was very helpful in guiding us to choose Cortec Luxury Engineered Vinyl floor for our remodel project, we are very dissatisfied with the customer service at Avalon.
We have some issues with the flooring such as faded planks, and gaps appearing between some of the planks. After sending photos of the floor to one of the employees, and after several phone calls, we still have no reply from management, which was promised.. 
Also, I contacted US Floors who makes the Cortec product and after 9 days, have NO REPLY. This is not a good way to run a business. Buyer Beware
