Our septic tank is located in the back yard so the driver had a long distance to go in order to reach the septic tank.  He arrived on time and I stayed with him while he was working to learn a bit more about septic tanks.  He was talkative and friendly throughout.

The driver arrived on time. He was very polite and professorial. He was mindful of my pond and got right to work. He did an excellent job, cleaned up after himself and put everything back the way it was. We paid slightly more than we did with other companies, but it was well worth it. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend their services.

This outfit was referred to me by a trusted friend who had nothing but compliments to give them, I now see why. They showed up on time. The technician was very professional, extremely polite and diligent. He did an outstanding job and brought me out when he was through to see that everything was completely cleaned. I had an issue with the alarm not working properly so he had a second technician come out who was just as knowledgable and friendly as the first. He tested and adjusted everything and took extra time to answer all my questions. Great experience.

McGOVERN INC came to my home on November 5, 2005, after engaging their services to clean my septic system. They only removed what was contained in the cesspool but never cleaned the solids tank. As a result, the pipe between the two concrete tanks became packed with sludge materials. As a result no liquid or other materials were able to be discharged to the drain field. After calling another septic service, and having the same service performed, it was reported to me that the operator could not get his hose into the solids tank, and this is why it became packed with sludge. These results were reported to me by Septic Services that corrected the situation. I have contacted BRUCE at McGovern, Inc. and repeatedly asked for an $86.00 refund for the work not performed. I never receive an answer. I sent an expert down there to talk with them, and they said they would refund that portion of the money to me but have not and will not respond. I would suggest you not use this service.

WE USE MCGOVERN TO KEEP OUR SEPTIC SYSTEM RUNNING. WE HAVE THE SYSTEM SERVICED EVERY 2 YEARS, THEY HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN RECOMMENDING WAYS TO EXTEND THE TIME BETWEEN SERVICE CALLS.
