On Friday January 9, I just learned of a death for a special friend, the family was receiving friends that afternoon and I was not

able to attend.  I needed to find a florists that would be able to fill my order that same day.  I called the Flower Barn to place a order to be delivered that same afternoon, they said that would no be a problem at all. They were very helpful over the phone taking the order and the flowers were delivered promptly.

The next day I received a call from my friends family expressing how lovely and unusual the floral arrangement was and to tell me that they took it home with them.

I will use the Flower Barn for all my Floral Arrangements from now on, Thank You for helping me out that day.

On Christmas Eve I visited the Flower Barn, looking for a last minute gift for someone special.

The person I was buying the gift for loved plants and I heard that the Flower Barn had Greenhouses with a large variety of

plants available.  The Greenhouses were beautiful and filled with 100's of different varieties along with large selection of

Orchids.  The sales person was very helpful and I purchased a orchid plant, which I have never heard of before my visit.

The Orchid was a Cattleya Orchid Plant in bloom, it was just beautiful. I would recommend anyone in this area to visit the

Flower Barn Greenhouses they are amazing. Thank You Again for helping me find the perfect gift at the last minute.

Called Flower Barn and asked if it was to late to have a arrangement delivered to a family member for Christmas in Johnstown
The woman who answered the phone said that would not be a problem and she helped me with my order, my order was delivered
on Christmas Eve and it was beautiful. I would like to Thank the Flower Barn for being so prompt and courteous in handling my order.
I would use this florist again and recommend them to my friends and family. The delivery driver was very pleasant even though it was Christmas Eve and the Christmas Arrangement was outstanding. Thank you again

From Alaska my brother ordered yellow Mother's Day flowers from this company three weeks before Mother's Day. As of 2 PM on Mother's Day, no flowers came, so my brother called the company. They said the flowers would be there in an hour. At 4 PM no flowers came, so my brother called again, and they said the flowers would arrive before the end of the day and that the owner would deliver them himself. At 6 PM the flowers came. The man delivering them told my mother that my brother was not patient, and that he was never delivering flowers to her again. (Maybe and ldquo;Happy Mother's Dayand rdquo; would have been a better greeting.) The flowers, which cost about $100, were horrible. They had less than $30 worth of flowers in them, daisies which were half wilted, mums with brown petal tips, cheap birds, an apparently reused bow, and areas with only greenery. My brother has bought expensive flowers from this company to be delivered to my mother several times before, which were beautiful. We assume this time they forgot the order and then threw together whatever they had. Regardless, telling an elderly woman who waited all day for her Mother's Day flowers that her son is not patient, and that they are never delivering to her again is far from professional, and very disrespectful. Who insults an innocent mother on Mother's Day?

long distance order for flowers, delivery not completed as ordered, appalling customer service on follow-up telephone inquiry. The recipients of the flowers live in a rural area, so I phoned the Flower Barn and requested confirmation, before placing my order, that their business would deliver the floral arrangement to that address. I was assured that they would. The woman who took the order was friendly, professional, and clear. On Easter day, my relatives told me that the flowers were incredibly beautiful, but that they'd had to send someone to pick them up at a location between the flower shop and their home. I had not been contacted by the Flower Barn about any potential complications with the delivery, so it was not clear to me why this had been necessary. I phoned the Flower Barn the next day to ask about the delivery problem. The woman who answered the phone was again professional and friendly. I stated that I would like to speak with a manager or the owner about a delivery problem, and she connected me to the man who had delivered the flowers (the owner?). He introduced himself and I introduced myself. In an even and civil tone, I said that I was calling about a problem with the delivery of an order that I had placed. One sentence. Nothing accusatory or angry or nasty. The man responded with a tirade of at least a minute, insisting that 1) he refused to be harassed about this order and that 2) the delivery location was far away and that 3) they might have delivered there in the past, but he really hadn't known where it was when he took on the order this year. I listened in silence. When he had finished, I waited for a few seconds, recognized the futility of even trying to have a reasonable discussion with him, said "Wow", and then said "Goodbye". The Flower Barn has lost all of my future orders to their area, where I have a lot of relatives. They haven't just lost my undesirable orders for delivery to rural addresses, but they've also lost my orders for future local deliveries. The bottom line for any successful business is: when you promise to deliver a product to the recipient's door, you do it; if a problem arises, you contact the buyer (your customer) to find a way to resolve it to everyone's satisfaction; and you NEVER treat your customers like they've abused you when they make a polite inquiry about an apparent problem with your service. My recommendation to potential Flower Barn customers is that you run - not walk - to another florist who will appreciate your business.
