Assessed and quickly fixed the problem in a very courteous and professional manner.

Came Tuesday first of all after 9 told me at 10 that my system was completely destroyed (how did he check 7 radiators in a 4 story house never leaving the basement?) and that the pump wasn't going to work. Then instead of offering to refund the balance of the $525 he received up front on his $725 running estimate he offered to instead install 3 gas space heaters for $450 each (Only $269.00 at Lowes) and $85/hour for the four hour mounting installation (even though the heaters come with feet)

I was having problems with my drain in my sink so, I called J A Rodda since he had done work for me in the past, nothing of this size thou. My sink in the basement was not draining and water was coming out the drain in the sink. I put some metal plate over it so it would stop, it did so I called Jon Rodda to come take a look at it. He came within a day or two He told me I had a sewer line problem. He than came up with the fact my sewer line was broke which I agreed with. He started to dig out side where the line was coming out the house and told me I had a break in my main sewer line. I asked him what are we talking? He said that I had a break and to fix the break would be $3,000.00 and than he explained that the Borough in Upper Yoder was going to make homeowners replace the clay piep with

I called JA Rodda to see if they would be able to come to my home I was moving in to to help install a dishwasher.  They were scheduled to arrive the last week in June.  I had scheduled time off of work to have this done in my home.  They DID NOT SHOW AT ALL.  No call nothing.  I called and he stated that he was unable to come and do the work.  I called ABC Plumbing and they showed up right away.   WILL NEVER CALL OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!

Mr Rodda was called on a Friday afternoon and indicated that he was available just 2 hours later. He showed up 10 minutes later than the agreed time and smoked a cigarette in my driveway before coming to the door. He performed the work as agreed but appeared to me to be working at a terribly slow rate of speed. I should have asked his hourly rate before he started because he asked 80 per hour which was not expected. I found him to be unprofessional and poor at explaining the problems that he diagnosed and fixed. The work he performed improved but did not fix the water pressure problem that we had.

I called Rodda and he answered immediatley. We set a date for the following day, afternoon, because he had a prior engagement in the morning.  He even called the next day when he was on his way.  He addressed the problem:  different faucet companies have different set up parts. He was able to put on adapters and remedy the problem.  Afterwards, we asked for a quote to provide service on installing an add-on boiler to our existing furnace, which he provided.  Even though I feel his pricing for fixing a small faucet problem was steep, he was a very nice and funny man and seemed to know his stuff.
