C & R SVC CTR

We had the camper towed from storage to
C&R because none of the exterior lighting was working and there was a leak
in the bathroom ceiling, We were asked to provide a RV battery this seemed odd
since they were a RV repair center.

I provided them with a almost new 7way harness that I wanted installed because
it was a high quality sealed cord the next day they called me and asked me what
I did with it? after I and the tow driver saw them carry it inside their shop
along with the battery.

I told them if the breakaway switch did not work do not replace it because I
had ordered one that I was going to keep as a spare and I would use it if
needed, they called and said they put a new switch on anyway against my wishes
and got irate with me because I did not want it!

We asked if they could seal the roof since it was inside and they said yes,
they only get 5 gallon buckets and had to order a bucket of sealant but used
only 1 gallon this is not enough to put a thick enough coat on the roof I do
not think they cleaned the roof prior to using the sealant because some has
washed off the camper and it now leaks again!

Anyway the day I went to pick it up when I plugged it in not all the marker
lights worked and they walked around the camper hitting them till they came
on!!!!! This is not how you repair lights since they were only $5-6 each! so in
the end they only replaced 3 marker lights that they could not get to work any
other way! they put a new 7 way plug on the harness that needed to be replaced
because the wiring was brittle and damaged and did not think losing my harness
would be a issue to me!

They replaced a 30 amp plug and painted the roof with what I do not know? I had
to file a complaint against them for their poor quality work and the missing
harness,

They then mailed me a new harness but refused to adjust the bill for work not
done as asked, and the Owner/Mechanic used some degrading language after I
pointed out all the deficiency's in their work. to top it all off they called
to say it was done and needed the bay but I knew the sealant needed to dry for
up to 24 hours in a dry location and it was raining that day I ask them to keep
it so it could dry but they seemed angry that I wanted the roof to dry
properly! so I picked it up anyway because I was already upset with the phone
calls from them asking what to do and not to do after I watched the woman at
the desk write everything down that was to be done.

On a final note the RV mechanic I was told used to work for a large RV dealer
as a mechanic before they closed down, I know nothing about RV's I am a former
auto mechanic that understands the basics of what had to be done and I knew I
had been burned by this company, do yourself a favor if you are in this area
avoid them if you can! I wish I could post photos of the before and after and
also the invoice that was done in a way against PA law they re did the invoice
after I made it clear to them  by reporting them to the state but you can't
take back a broken law! I could go on with all the fine details but you get the
idea I thought I would get my RV back ready for the road but this was not the
case.

Write a check unless you have a good Credit card company that will back you up
we have to pay another company to go over the invoice and all the paper work to
put a report on a letter head before our Credit card company will decide how
much of the charge they will reverse based on what was supposed to be done.
