Kolor-Rite Painting

The first day they came at 10:00 and stayed till 8:15. Mike, the owner, stayed the whole time and did a great job. I ended up calling Mike back out to repaint shelves that they painted earlier. The company underbid themselves, because I had the doorjambs and windows were done in white and the ceiling was painted light peach. The walls were done in dark peach and the kitchen cabinets were done in red.

Two kitchen doors on both sides were painted peach and white on the other side. The kitchen cabinets consisted of 6 units and they were all painted in red. Two fairly large TV shelves were painted white initially after being primed and then when I had them come back they painted them red. They had to put a third coat of paint on the cabinets.

Behind the TV shelves, he had to remove the cabinet and take out a TV and take a strip of wallpaper out. After taken the wallpaper down he had to wash the wall from the glue before he could start painting the kitchen walls. They also removed all the appliances away from the wall and outside and finished painting the walls.

They also took the time to patch the holes in the wall before starting the painting job. The job ended up being $600 after he added a third coat of paint and for painting under the cabinets.

Mike, was very patient and reliable. He was very congenial to me when I made changes in what I wanted. The job was done on the hottest week of the year, so the humidity was making it difficult with the three coats. He called me to make sure that I did not put the knobs on the doors because it would dig into the wood. He was worried about it so much. He came back and fixed the doorknobs for me.

I would highly recommend him and will continue to use him again in the future.
