Elite Builders HVAC used outside contractors. Some were very good. Some were not good at all. I had to move out of the house because of the debris and sawdust throughout the house. When the workers said they had finished, I had to ask for a guarantee of the work - TWICE!. I refused to give final payment until I received a detailed warranty, which guaranteed workmanship and parts for twenty years. The inside of the house looked beautiful!

Because of my schedule, I was unable to move back into the house until just recently, June 2013.

1) The kitchen ceiling started leaking after I took a bath in the upstairs bathroom. I cut open a small portion of the beautifully painted kitchen ceiling and pulled out pieces of black plastic trash bag material that was wrapped around the broken pipes in the ceiling. The black plastic was stapled to the inside of the ceiling. Drywall had been put over this and the ceiling was painted! I reached Elite Builders HVAC Inc. company president, Mr. Scott Harshey, who told me someone from his company would get in touch with me. Four weeks later, I AM STILL WAITING THE COMPANY'S CALL.

2) Water from all faucets throughout the house run slow because, I discovered, none of the galvanized pipes were replaced, as I requested from Elite Builders HVAC. I took a shower and felt like I was bathing out of a bucket, a very small bucket.

3) The AC unit in the attic overflowed into a 2nd floor bedroom. The specialist who installed the outside AC unit never looked at the other part of the AC system (a split system). I did appreciate his sending a welder to build a metal cage around the outside unit to prevent theft of the unit. Four inches of water poured onto the newly polyurethaned wood floor in the bedroom. Drywall fell from the ceiling.

4) The phone jack on the first floor worked before Elite Builders HVAC came in. After moving back in, I discovered that one of the telephone wires had been cut.

5) The remote control doorbell, that Elite Builders HVAC installed, stopped working the day after I moved back into the house.

6) The Elite Builders HVAC contractor who laid the brick front porch and steps took my deposit and disappeared for several weeks, reappearing only after the crew foreman tracked him down. He then used cheap concrete to cement the bricks, so whenever it gets cold, white spots appear on the red bricks and one must use a poisonous acid (muriatic acid) to clean them.

7) Elite Builders HVAC never replaced the smoke detectors that had been in the house before they started working.
