in 2014 Champion installed a sump pump and outside drain work. Recently with all of the heavy rains, there was a leak in one of the outdoor drainage pipes. Champion sent out a technician, Christian Sr, to repair this issue. After working on it for a short time, Christian identified a secondary issue that I was completely unaware of. Excellent workmanship by Christian! And Champion truly stands behind their lifetime warranty.

Correct dampness/water in 2 areas of the basement

I could not be more pleased with the waterproofing of my basement and garage. I purchased an older home about 1 year ago and since then have struggled with moisture and water accumulation in my basement and garage, leading to mold, wood rot, and an unpleasant odor. The system installed by Dave Butler and his crew at Champion Waterproofing, Inc. has solved this problem completely. In addition to fair pricing, I found their response time to quick and efficient, without sacrificing quality service. Champion even agreed to repair and replace the bottom few steps leading into my basement that were water damaged. Labor and materials for this service was not covered in the original estimate, but Champion decided to include it in the cost of the job! The experience with Champion was very smooth from the initial meeting/quote all the way through the installation process. The price and explanation along the way was very thorough and very helpful. The people I interacted with were courteous and easy to engage with from a customer perspective. Howard (owner), John(office) and Brian (foreman) and the crew were professional and had a high attention to detail. We had a basement wall anchored 10 years ago, and it is holding wonderfully. There has been absolutely no movement since Champion fixed the bowed wall. Recently we had concern about possible foundation issues based on stepping cracks on the outside of the house's addition. When Champion came to give an estimate for a fix we were told there was not enough significant movement to warrant piering at this time. Instead of taking on the expensive job they were honest with their opinion of our concern. Champion is a company with integrity.

They installed an interior french drain. Price was lowest of our 3 estimates and they did the most thorough job (sprayed mold on cinderblock, membrane on wall 2 ft up, most linear ft, best warranty). The drain has been installed for several months and we’ve had a lot on rain. The floor has stayed perfectly dry.

The installation went very well. Brian and his crew were professional, friendly, responsive, and detail oriented. It was a very rainy day and they made sure that the house was so clean you would't know they were there. The drain has been in for several weeks and the room has remained dry even though prior to the installation we had a lot of water. We had worked with Howard (owner) and Brian before on another french drain they had done in another part of the house. Both jobs were all that we could ask for. The previous drain and sump pump have been working for over three years and the room has been super dry. We have been very pleased working with Champion Waterproofing. Not only has the work been exceptional; so has the price.

This is the second time I used champion. I needed to get sump pump installed to complete sale of a rental property. Howard came out and fit me into his schedule and made it work. Everything went smooth. Excellent job and very reliable.

Howard and his team were fantastic. They diagnosed the problem, proposed a solution and educated us on what needed to be done. They were very responsive, even calling back late evenings to make sure we were all ready for the install. The team that did the work was very professional. Everything is working according to plan. They followed up with us after to make sure we were satisfied and did not hound us about payment. All in all, an A+++ experience.

I cannot say enough great things about Champion Waterproofing !!! I had them come to my property to install Interior French Drains. They were on time, worked diligently, and the completed project was perfect. My basement has been dry ever since. Anytime I call in with questions or concerns, they are very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Champion Waterproofing to anyone that needs waterproofing done !!!

Champion was very helpful and professional with my job. The first rain was over the weekend and Jim was right! My basement is dry. This has taken such a burden off my shoulders. I am so grateful.

Champion put a french drain in our home before we purchased and reviewed the work as part of the inspection parameters it, based on known water leakage into the basement. They indicated that the intervention didn't really even need to happen, but just in case, they'd install--and that we'd likely never even need it. We've had consistent water leakage with each rain, baseboards are damaged and carpet is now pulled back to avoid the water. We contacted them, and initially their work guarantee was quite promising and they were quite helpful with coordinating efforts to evaluate and treat. One workman came and evaluated it and determined that it was not properly functioning. But we then heard that he wasn't the right person for the job. He indicated that he would give the recommendations as to the needed work. Over the past 7 months and 4 Champion led cancellations later, we've now started to have phone conversations with their main scheduler/phone answering representative that have been derogatory, manipulative, and overbearing towards us--as well as neglecting our requests altogether. We are typically very patient with these sort of things...and quite understanding about a company's operative requirements. And certainly appreciate work guarantees/warranties and the coordination it takes to come back to fix. Additionally, we have had a lot of flooding in the area and we also understand the needs to deploy corrective action for all of those properties in need-- and are patient about that. However, this has truly become an example of a company not being able to stand behind their work guarantee; as they would suggest, in order to rectify a situation in a dependable fashion, or be responsive, respectful, communicative. And unfortunately where there may be some positives, the bad examples ruin the entire experience and trust.

The company representative is the type of home service repairman that I wish I always found. He not only confirmed to me that I did not need the waterproofing services of his company, but he also confirmed that it was a plumbing problem. And, he recommended a great plumber who was able to come to my house the next day and fix the problem. If you ever need basement waterproofing services, strongly consider this honest, reputable, trustworthy company.

I had Champion Waterproofing do my house July 2017 and I THOUGHT they were great. The previous owners had a system in place, but it turns out they were ripped off. So, I had Champion come in a redo the work and put in a brand new pump. The crew was very polite and walked me through the process - I will give them that. However, whatever was done or something is broke, the flow of the water has changed and my basement is wet like never before. My brand new carpet is ruined. I have been calling Champion for MONTHS! ... I started calling back in March. It is now going on July and I have not even been able to get them to come to my house to assess the issue. They keep giving me the runaround and telling me that the foreman who completed the job last year, needs to come out. Fine. But, at the end of the day - I did not write a check to the foreman, I wrote a check to Champion Waterproofing. Now they were quick to come out and take my money, but honoring their LIFETIME warranty is a joke. I feel awful, because I have recommended them to other people. I know they have other professionals who can come out to at least "look" at what needs to be fixed. I am so disappointed and stressed. I will NOT and do NOT recommend them to waterproof your house.

Words cannot justify how well this process was done. Its a dirty job, regardless of what anyone tells you. The guys arrived early, put plastic up in an attempt to keep the dust to a minimum and got to work. Work was done inside in the basement, and also outside to daylight various downspouts. The team was the nicest group of young men. Very respectful, very informative, and very hard workers. Cleaned up after themselves and left my basement in better shape than it was before they arrived. Can you tell where the down spout was day-lighted, hardly! Worked hard to mark sure everything was put back to where it was. Great job! Hopefully you will never need their services, however if you do, give this company a chance to come out and do what they do best. You will not be disappointed.

The Champion employees did a great job and were very cooperative. This is a dirty job, but the guys did a great job of cleaning up.

Crew chief was very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and go over the planned work. Willingly stopped at points where I requested the chance to inspect before they proceeded. Did some minor extra work at no charge. Good job cleaning up afterwards.

Great, they were there in time did the job, cleaned up after themselves. Would use again if I needed.
